Dont know anything about serama, but some of my ko are half as tall as my shamo bantams. I have always liked battery style breeding pens, and the ko work great for that for me.

hey,
where did everyone go?
beth did you get the e-mail I sent?
Amy, let me know when works for you or if I need to meet you somewhere along the way. I am trying to thin down a little and make some room for three very special birds that will require some extra attention. So I need all you out there to understand I need to get a few more of these birds out of here to make room for my very special guests.

I know folks dump dogs and cats in the country. What about goats? This pygmy showed up today, in the middle of the afternoon, with no collar or other means of identification. I posted on Craig's List so that if anyone in this area lost a goat he or she could contact me. I've called the neighbors, who don't keep goats, to see if they know of anyone who lost one. No luck.

We had a nice rain shower this afternoon. It kept the painters from working, but it cooled everything off nicely, so I guess it was worth the loss of an hour. I'm excited to finally see the rock our house is made from. The previous owners painted it with gray enamel. Yuck. I'm going to have to pick trim colors soon, once we can see how the rock looks.

Chickens and ducks are enjoying the cooler mornings. Nice green grass is popping up everywhere. Maybe I'll have to gas up the mower again.

My youngest one had 2 goats & they ran off never to be seen again. We searched, asked neighbors, but never found them. Now she wants to get some bottle goats so they will love her & never leave her. I say bottle goats sounds like a lot of work for me!!!!
