***OKIES in the BYC III ***

The first of the dehydrated okra is finished this morning. It turned out pretty good. If you like fried okra you will like the dehydrated seasoned okra. It is very crunchy which I like, but it does retain some of the okra texture, not an obnoxious amount, I think I could get used to eating it, even like it. I seasoned it w/ garlic powder, black pepper, and a cajun mixed seasoning.

I will wear my blue with a rooster logo "People of Oklahoma Poultry Swap" shirt.

I will be the guy with the brace on his leg and probably in a wheel chair

I never thought to put okra in te dehydrator. Ummm. Will defiantly try it soon. I am sure my kids will think I lost my mind. They think the dehydrator is only made for fruit leather & jerky.

Kwartel and I are going...we're bringing some EE cockerals, pied keets, some cages, and feeders to the swap. Look forward to seeing you there! Hopefully the drive will be well worth it.
