I had to drop off registration paperwork at the Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services (ODMHSAS) and James asked me if that meant I was having myself committed because of the chicken thing.

I was over here making girlie squealing noises about how cute they are and James just sighed and said "Now we're gonna have to get pigeons, huh?"
Why yes honey, now that you said something, yes we are.

they are so awesome and soft! the second pullet is Cindylou Who.... and i think may be a little further up in the order- but these little gals have made me want to have more cochins- they are just wonderful personalities, my banty flock is my 'fun' flock, the laying flock is slowly shifting to EE's. I have my nn banty roos, not sure about what to do with them- they are really sweet, and being as i raised them i am torn on rehoming them
I sure have seen alot of pics of nice EEs on the thread lately. There were some nice ones at the sale too. I love the beards. If I had room for a laying flock I'm sure EEs would be the breed.
yep- thats what i am doing- gradually as i need more, they make the bulk of the flock-
but those cochins have taken over the eyecandy pen...LOL!
