Kick away!

Barn Chick-you sound excited! I hope you make hundreds of new friends fast!
Does anyone here raise Araucanas? I think a couple would go nicely with my Easter Eggers. And I love how they look.
Edit: It's the rumpless ones with those big tufts around their heads that I like.

Ive always loved cream bars in any breed. Good looking birds.

Thanks Guy, I do not know much about pigeons but know you are an authority on them. What is a cream bar?

Keep the cage out and I bet he comes back in the day time, they can't see well enough at night. He's probably perched somewhere drinking Margaritas & singing old folk songs

Wonderful story about the eagle, amazing that the guy caught that shot.
And yes, I'm Chick Addicted. But I've learned from YOU all's Chick Addictions and I'm going to add mine 1 or 2 at a time lol

I hope all is well... nothing much new on the home front here other than really looking forward to the farewell party ... I do hope you all can come.. we want to have as many pictures possible of all our friends here to take with us there ... We need a brag book.. ha ha ha Its just our small way of saying thank you guys for all the really sweet good times!

It is a potluck so bring your favorite dish(rule of thumb.. make enough for your normal size family plus one more) we will be supplying the burgers and dogs...

Trying to make the time of the potluck early enough so anyone who wants to head out to the blanchard auction (I believe there is one on that day) can still go

Just shoot me a pm if you plan on attending so I can get a general idea as to how much meat we should get... thanks... a more "formal" post will be done here in the next few day...

Hope everyone has a great rest-of-the-week and we'll be seeing you again.

Ksane: glad the little Cornish is doing well with your family - she was a peacemaker for ours.

Firefly89: Hope you are feeling well now, just go "cuddle" with Red, she'll make it all better.

MIL was better yesterday. Bone scan and she was able to eat lunch. No one wants to mention the word Cancer around her, but it's a possibility that should be answered by the bone scan. Stomach and GI are due today. Thank you for your continued prayers.

Too many fires around us since the ban has been lifted...hope no one is burning today with the higher winds.

Grandparents day at grandson's preschool this morning. Then I'll stay at the hospital with MIL while the boys feed the herds at home and on the leases.
