well, for now he isn't impressed with duck food, but seems to have more energy, you might be right, i may keep him for a few days and then see where he is at, he is less happy about contact than he was, so that is a good sign- don't know if we have a juvenile or young one that just couldn't handle the flights?

Carl said it is old enough to be released. Go ahead and take it to the lake.
 
Robin, contact your local fish and game or county extension office explain that it wondered up and you would like them to re-hab and release it if possible, they should pick it up, clean it up, feed and monitor for a week or so then release it where it will stand a good chance of living.

ok, have talked to rehabbers and they are all too far away, will check with the wildlife dept in the morning- i can say this...chickens smell alot better than this guys poop...dave says its cause of his diet...

Well spent all day in the city got home around 630. Just had time to get chores done right before it started raining. Got inside just for it to stop raining. Gotta love Oklahoma weather.
