Stuck my foot in my mouth saying I don't get stray dogs @ my place.

Driving back from cheer practice this little black spot was in the rd @ the house before mine. Almost hit her. Pulled over picked her up. Knocked on the door & they say it isn't their dog. As soon as I picked her up she was skin & bones with nappy hair, so I am thankful to know it wasn't their dog being neglected. So I went ahead & put her in the car. She sat right in my lap as if she rides in the car everyday.

Weighs 7lbs & has a docked tail. Very well mannered dog. But we already have 4 large dogs. Oh & I will go on a limb & say she hasnt been around chickens. My birds came around the corner & she ran up the stairs to the porch!

I figure I will put a flyer @ the post office & see if anyone claims her.

Sulpher Dog Trade Flea Market was one of my favorite places to go on Sundays. When I lived and worked in that area
also enjoyed the Sulpher Springs National Park especially in the HOT summertime.

O yah we LOVE Sulpher Spings....Every time we go by Macy wont's to play in the water..

We went, and were showing, and even took the camera but didn't think it get it out for pics.
Don (Dgibson) took champion Feather leg with a bantam Buff Brahma, greg his son took champion continental.
Our boys took nearly 30 birds mostly OE and a few serama from. They did very well with Red Pyle, Brassy Back, Blue Brassy Back, Brown red, Opal and Porcelian. They Had Bv and in all RV in most the worste any of them did was 4th place. It was a long day and even longer night and day after. finnally have everything put back up.
Best of breed went to a BB Red cock bird from Hy Plains bantams of newcastle.

[[[Congrad]]] to your boy's..Man that's alot of o.e's an a good selection of color's..

Temperature is dropping and it is really windy. Doesn't look like OKC will get any rain, but glad some others in Eastern Oklahoma got some.

We caught most of the runner ducks yesterday and penned them up, so I could see how many and what color we have. It is amazing how solid brown and solid blue ducks can come up with offspring that have a white ring around their neck and some that have lacing in their feathers. (the blue and brown ducks were separated when ducklings were hatched) I think I will advertise all the non-solid runners for sale on craigslist - and see if someone wants them for training herding dogs. They are fairly prolific egg layers, but in my opinion are not large enough to make a good eating duck.
