Just want to make a public announcement

For those who would like, my home is open to anyone who wants to come for Thanksgiving dinner. It will be a traditional meal with some vegetarian additions. Yes, there will still be a real meat turkey. If you would like to come shot me an email and if you would like to bring something to contribute let me know. I am planning on going shopping Friday so RSVP as soon as possible, but if you forget don't worry I always make extra.

Got the new 2012 Meyers chick catalog today. Oboy its going to be a long winter!lol My favorite "want" is the tufted buff geese. I saw one at the sale last week and wish I had bought it, They are beautiful. Of course goslings are $14.38 each! And minimum is 8 so that is $114.48 plus shipping!. Doubt I will be able to affodr that unless I win the lottery(which I seldom play) I am thinking about ordering some polish tho. They really sell high here and you don't see that many of them. Need to wait and check others prices. Usually Ideal has the cheapest!

Kass, I went ahead and cut up my pumpkin. the seeds were just perfect! I have them drying now. This one was cut about three or four weeks ago. On the gourds I let them dry completely before I take them out.
