***OKIES in the BYC III ***

That was a looooong drive home. I'm in for the night now. First thing I did when I got home was to check my birds - 2 silly Partridge hens and a Mille Fleur pullet were roosting on the top of their coops. They were soaked. I popped them in the coops. Silly girls, don't they know how nice it is inside with the deep bedding and their smarted coopmates?

A good table saw can make them into 1x4 real easy.. I always buy bigger wood than I use and rip it down to what I want. It is actually more cost effective. I like to use the term "cost effective" so no one thinks I am being cheap..

I consider it being "frugal" to save money when there are choices that don't affect quality.

Well, got most of the frame up on the new pen at the new place, Hopefully soon I will have more birds!! Mike D., do you still have them blue cochins?

just had to move the banties onto the porch...thier coop roof is a sieve!

gonna have to figure something out, poor things were just dripping! do chickens get colds??? they are in an area with lots of litter and dry- or should i have gotten them dry first?

Robin, people and animals don't get colds from rain or weather, they get it from a virus.
They'll be fine-although knowng you, you won't be able to sleep until you've dried them off and gotten then snuggly warm
