For those of you who are interested in having chicks this year and might be a bit weak on incubating / hatching skills or just dont have an incubator I will have extra space in my incubator that I will lease out for $10.00 per dozen set. I currently have capacity of 20 dozen available.

Sooner mine came out looking like this

They have a huge ball at bottom and small bulb on a longer neck at top. I have some more seed that I was given that is more pear shaped with no handle or ball on top. They also called these bird house gourds. I can give you seeds of either one.

This is the Game cock ration that GotGame was talking about. I'm still looking on the web for exact ingredients, protein %, etc because it comes in a plain brown bag. 50 lbs for $12. But does anyone recognize any of the ingredients? I see corn and pellets but I don't know what kind of pellets they are. The black things (sunflower seeds?) and the other things I don't recognize so was hoping you all might. If not I'll post elsewhere and see if anyone does.
For the record-if you feed this to your birds wear knee pads and a helmet. They will take you to the ground for it

If this can be fed as a complete ration I'll be thrilled. I don't know if it's got the vitamins and minerals in it? Or if it's just the individual grains. I'm just putting oyster shell out for the layers on the side. They LOVE this stuff!
