Nana, I've got my fingers crossed for your hubby. Thank goodness he went in when he did to get it checked.
AllBreeds-you pretty much summed up what I thought NPIP was all about < g>. I read a post once about this lady claiming her new chickens couldn't have possibly caused disease in her flock because the new chickens were NPIP. She went onto explain that meant they'd been tested for every chicken disease known to man. I was just floored that an adult individual even thought that. Or blindly assumed it was even possible.

meanwhile, candled the serama eggs from Deanne- 2 are definitely growing, not sure of the others yet- so is it safe to let 2 broodies hatch together??

so that makes 3 broodies in the house- should see cindylous hatch sunday or monday.... and princess the ee in the coop....
 
when i was NPIP tested this year i thought they said you could only get stock from a NPIP flock
can someone tell me what time the auction starts sat.
