***OKIES in the BYC III ***

Like Sooner I finally got caught up after being off here for a day. Went to an auction in Horse Cave<ky yesterday. I really like this one because they sell by the bird! If you get top bid you can pick and choose what you want. That sure beats haveing to buy a whole box when you only want a couple! This sale is going to be a selling auction and not a buying auction! Boy there were some really high prices! P&B the crowd gto mixed up on phesantsw ,a pair of plain ole ringnecks went for $50 and a pair of redgoldens only brought $24! I have never seen ringnecks sell for that much.
I brought home a nice pair of black cochins and two rabbits. One was a huge cottontail looking doe,proably part flemmish,the other a cotton tail looking buck to go with her. But he is only less than half her size!~He is young so hope he gets bigger. I also brought home another kitten! Its a cute orange and white long hair! Wife hasn't seen it yet!lol
Its snowing here today. Have a winter weather advisory and winter warning just north of us. Its not really cold,its a slushy snow but its starting to stick.

Well I haven't been all weekend so Hi everyone~ Lots of fun reading & catching up! DD is good at her show. It was a late one & Metzford was right it was after midnight when we got home. I don't care for Friday night shows, the hens don't want to stand on the table & show! I got another tray of seeds planted & set in the window. Had a propane leek yesterday & lost it all, sure hoping the guy comes today to fix it.....he would of been here yesterday but had a family emergency.......I really need a shower.

Thanks everyone for the suggestions of using mini blinds for markers, if only I had some old one's! I guess the next time I see someone throwing some out I will snatch them. The plastic knifes worked great. I got out & cleaned up in the garden yesterday, still to wet to do anything else. I really hate that!

glad she did good! i only been to 2 friday shows, and they are rough!

whos problem was the leak? yours or theirs?

when you have grandkids, kids, small dogs, and the wifes soninlaw, you can have all the messed up mini blinds you want!


the knives should work for a while, but the sun is going to eat them alive!
go by the dollar store and buy 1 big blind, you will have markers for years to come!

i was gonna say get some knee boots for the garden, but then i realized they would be butt boots on you with them little short legs!!

been busy this morning, its so nice out i had to get all the house guys outside...FIL keeps saying don't get too comfy, we still have the rest of the month and march....
