Nice's looking happy chick's artsy .. Jcat hope you get the incubator going goood .. We had a dirt yard at one time thin i dug up grass roots an put a plug in about 3ft apart now its all grass. The geese help keep the sticker's killd out an all the weed ..

Alright, I confess - the areas where the chickens have killed all our bermuda grass is where they live - so it is under constant pressure. We have a 50x50 chicken yard that is totally bare of any vegetation except the Vitex bushes that were already "started" when planted.

I'm thinking my plan will still work, but just that there is to much grass and not enough chickens confined enough to get rid of it, but once I thin it down by weeding it out and planting a garden a couple of seasons and letting the chickens run through it, that it will be more of a maintenence free thing rather then a get it out first thing.

I put this on the planning thread for NEOCS, but not many people have commented, so I'm going to post the T-Shirt design here for some feedback. I want the design to be reminiscent of the old Woodstock T-shirts, so look at the red background (Woodstock) design and then let me know if the black background (Chicken Stock) makes sense. Peace signs? No peace signs? What looks best?
