Joe I like those gold laced,are they bantam or LF? Here is the pair I just got.Mine don't pose as good as yours!

You could use a washing machine tub, it already has the holes drilled....just saying

The holes need to be 3/4 of and inch for the fingers to mount through, I'm thinking the outer tub from a washer or a 55 gal plastic drum cut down, I think if I make it just large enough it might do one turkey or goose at a time and 3 or four chickens at a time, There was a nice stainless steel tub at Blanchard a while back but it was a little small and was welded to a car rim so couldn't use it, the stainless would have been great though

Yes 3/4 inch for fingers, they will be mounted on the plate that you are cutting down right, and fit in the bottom of the drum

love your pics my golden laced are LF and i like your bantams im working on gold blue laced LF cochins and cant wait to start setting eggs from one of my F2 blue/goldec laced splits

They also stick through the tub to the inside, I have a dryer tub that I was looking at using it was also full of holes but the metal is thinner than the width of the slot on the fingers I am thinking it might cause it to wobble and wear out the fingers faster

and im on the waiting list to get LF motteled UK orps this spring and can't wait they are just gorgus

Maybe you could use a backup washer to fill the slot,even maybe a rubber oring
