***OKIES in the BYC III ***

Didn't touch a thing except unplugging the turner. Th!ey're not actually due til tomorrow. You must be good if the ones at your place are hatching already
Maybe I'll get lucky and they'll all be done by tomorrow afternoon then!!

I'll let you know.. they should be done by then but soem are slow, the later hatches are ussually pullets and teh early hatching birds for some reason tend to be males its odd how that works..

Usually guinea eggs are a LOT more pointed than that, but that doesn't mean it isn't possibly a guinea egg.

Hope to see several of you at Pryor Saturday.

How are you doing Jim? getting ready for a busy weekend?

nope, but i dont have a choice!

after i get good and woke up saturday i'll be alright, hopefully i can make it thru the whole show! i usually dont make it all the way anymore, i get worn out and have to take a nap!

Hey, you guys I got a really super dark brown egg with spots on it today, it's about the size of an OEGB egg. Is that what Guinea eggs look like? There's only the big laying hens and the Guinea that go in that coop.
Edit: Here's the egg. Maybe it's just an oddball sexlink egg.

may have spoke too soon, that is one funny looking guinnie egg. wrong color and funny shaped.

guinnie eggs are colored more like quail eggs, and the spots are bigger. carl may be right, may be a pullet egg.

I don't have any pullets in the layers yard, Jim. But it's very possible it's just a misshapen fluke from one of the others. I did see a huge range of Pearl guinea egg colors online and there were some that looked just like this one. So it very well may be Guinea also. If it is she marched her butt right into the coop and laid it in the same spot all the layers use lol
