I'm jealous of the tractor, how did you find it? I've just been lurking craigslist and another site like it, but for farm stuffs.


I need some ideas. After buying supplies yesterday to fix our wellhouse it's making me rethink my coop plans. Building supplies are a lot more expensive than they were 5 years ago. I did notice the metal sheds at Lowe's, it would be cheaper to get the cheapest of them and it would be bigger than what I was planning on building. Anyone ever converted one of these for a coop? The only concern I have is the thin metal wouldn't be much for keeping the warmth in during winter. Do you think a heat lamp or two would be enough to keep a 8x10 thin sheetmetal shed warm enough in the winter?

Well the 2012 N.E. Oklahoma Poultry Show is in the books, had a great time, wish i could have talked to all of the new people there , but was hooked up tight with the judge all day, doors opened at 6:30am and everyone was gone by 3:30 and no Betsy was not the last one out LOL, did have a pair of birds left but was quick to find the owners, so i would like to say thanks to all who came out and hope all had a good time, hope to see everyone next year. THANKS
