***OKIES in the BYC III ***

I'd vote the orange belonging to the tri color long hair and the black and white belonging to the white. Is the black one totally truly black? You think it's a boy or a girl? ...... just asking in case you don't intend to keep them..... I've been longing for a purely black cat since mine got killed 10 years ago.

Robin - That's a great mom story. I love it.

I have a mom story tonight too. I found a box with three kittens in it in the barn yesterday: one white, one black, and one oranged striped. Two cats are no loner pregnant, and they are sharing the box and the kittens. The white cat is probably the mother of the white kitten with the black head spot, and the dark cat is likely the mother of the darkest kitten, but which is the mother of the orange striped kitten?

That is a neat dot on the white kitten's head. Does it have other spots too?
I bet the dark mama is the mother of the orange kitten. She has orange in her fur.
I've never heard of cats sharing kittens and a nest. I wish I could have a kitten. We have 4 cats, that is definately our max., 3 in the house is a bit crowded.
I'll just have to be happy with baby chickens - not a bad substitute.

These are the pics of the chicks I was hoping you could help me determine if they were pullets or roosters. I took two pics of each chick a body and then a head shot.

I haven't gotten close enough to the kittens to know the answers to your questions. I will let you know the gender and if the kitten is all black when I can isolate the kittens. I may be able to convince the momma cats to hunt outside if I put the food dish outside in the morning. I hope to find homes for them. We have enough barn cats to keep the mice away.

i'd go with the long hair being mama to the orange kitten- love the white one with the spot...:) my cat choice would be a ragdoll...:)

good to see you online! I am thinking the silky cross is a pullet for sure...:) can you get pics of them standing normal, rather than being held?

If it's not too swampy and raining out, I'll try to get pics of them standing tomorrow.

Robin I think Lea looks like a roo! Love the name by the way!lol

PoCo our oldest cat looks like the dark one only shorther haired. I never knew cats had such personalitys! This one can go from sweet angel to coniving devil! She amases me in that she actually seems to be able to think things out and get what she wants. On the same foot you can just see the wheels turning when she is plotting mischief against the Taco dog or the kitten! They are never ending enterainment!
