Well just the 1 baby, I guess. This one didn't waste any time and got right to zipping and stomped out of the shell. The other one finally got a hole made but it was pointing down (although it was the correct end of the shell). I saw its beak breathing/gasping through the whole but there was a lot of liquid that ran out. Next time I checked it wasn't breathing. Not sure I could've done anything to help it. It had only been 7 hours since its initial pip. I've got 2 more to go into lockdown Tue out of this batch from Newcastle. Then 6 Cochins and a Cochin/EE egg of mine to go into lockdown May 9th, assuming those continue growing like they have been. So I'm sure I'll end up with at least a few Cochin girls so I'll be happy.
Here's the one baby, this is a strong baby. He wasn't even dry yet and he was toddling around pecking at egg shell trying to eat lol
Oh yea-not sure if you all are aware of it or not-but there's no auction tonight at Blanchard

I have five standard Sumatra chicks just a few days old I am not going to keep, if anyone wants them let me know asap. I am asking $15 for all. They are also going on craigslist. I can deliver them to poops if someone for sure wants them. PM is the best way to get hold of me.

Give a proper lesson in chicken math then he will understand, that he has not been counting correctly.

I hope to be so active in another 20 years.. It is wearing on me as it is. We will make Poops at least for a while (long enough to visit and cook) I have work sunday so will be leaving early for bed.

Well everyone have a good evening, i'm out for now.. already me cheer of a hatcher full of chicks.. Nanakat got her 50 or so so far, Okieridge picked up 38, The boys came and got thiers, and I moved mine outside. One tray to go for Nanakat and this weeks hatch will be done. Had a overall great hatch 100% on all but one tray which were shipped eggs giving the last few a couple of days just to make sure but not real hopefull.
