Why am I getting singled out? Cuz Kass isn't here??

Cathie a yr ago I thought wire floor brooders were the meanest thing in the whole world. When we were only hatching in the brinsea cleaning shavings wasn't so bad. Now that DD hatches 2-10 dz a wk I would pull my hair out if we had to clean all those boxes. With the wire the food & water stays clean & we only change the newspaper under the tray a couple times a wk (just depends on his full the brooder is & the age of the birds)
I am brining guinea keets to POOPS. They are hatching out right now, guessing we should have about 3 dz. gotgame I will send you a PM when I know what colors & have a count. CityClucks I will pm you as will, I know you wanted some fancy ones-- once they fluff out I will have a good idea of the variety of this hatch.

Awesome - thank you! (If you don't end up with fancy ones, regulars will do.)

The directions mapquest gave me brings us to a park entrance on NE 21st St. Will the event be easy to find from that direction? Is there an entrance more convenient to the event site?

Johnorem - I remember you posting about roses before - have you been to the Tulsa Rose Garden yet? It is a free, beautiful and very large rose garden next to Woodward Park at 21st & Peoria. There is a small Arboretum past the Rose Garden behind the Tulsa Historical Society building. The Linnaeus Teaching Garden is also in the Woodward Park Complex.

Not laughin at ya just laughin with ya!!!!!
Well I'm heading back out to play, I had to take a break from reworking an old boat trailer trying to make it into something more useful, I was using the cutting torch and some slag jumped on me and set my head on fire so I came in to get on here and hope that the smell of burnt hair and brain matter would make me just enough smarter that I won't repeat the process while I try to finish what I need done :)

GreyBear-- seen online someone burried a fiberglass boat & turned it into a root cellar. Turned out very nice.

CityClucks- hope to have lots of fancy keets, the eggs are only from my fancy flock. So far I know I hatched bronze & brown also any pearls we have my still actually be brown, last season I had some that I thought were pearl & they ended up brown (oops).

Don't forget to help your kids save eggs for the Amazing Egg contest @ POOPS!!!!
Rules

The egg contest is for chicken eggs that are less than 30 days old.
Each child may enter up to 6 eggs.
Eggs will be assigned a number & placed on a table for viewing.
Voting will be available for all Poops attendees.
Each voter will pick the egg that they think is
Largest
Smallest
Prettiest
Darkest
Oddest
All votes will be totaled & the egg in each category with the most votes will be declared the winner.

hey what is going on Friday night at the Poops deal? Is there a place to camp there or is everyone just meeting there for setup and visiting, what time will people be around on Sat. morning, I plan on being there Sat. morning around 8-9am, Lynn

just look for the rednecks, that will be me!

heck us rednecks just drive across the grass to get where we need to be! no sense in going around the block or anything!
