***OKIES in the BYC III ***

Actually haven't given it a lot of thought other than it seems like a good idea LOL I think the nipples are worth a couple bucks each a couple on a gallon water about five something like that, I'm sure we can figure out something, I always figure that there are two things that separate us Americans from everyone else is we live by the barter system and we can eat anything on the face of the planet between two pieces of bread....

That means more coleslaw for the rest of us.

You had me bustin' a gut with your carrying on over the last few pages. I imagine tomorrow is gonna be full of crazy antics and tall tales with everyone. Do you think I should bring waders? Or just a shovel? (ducking and running.....)

Speaking of snakes, pit vipers are the poisonous ones found in Oklahoma. I'm not inclined to get close enough to any of them to see if they're one of those, so if they're in the road I'll drive over them. I killed two this week that way. One raised it's neck way up in the air just before I ran it over.

Here are some of the other things I saw this week:

This is the last of the blooming iris. It got beat up by the rain but it's still pretty and smells sooo good!

Some kind of flower or weed that grows all over the place.

Some kind of caterpillar that was crawling up a tree.

This is, I believe, a male fence lizard. Notice the blue stripe on it's belly. There are lots of them around but this one was curious. It kept coming out on the deck and doing push-ups - a mate attracting ritual.

Same lizard, different view.

Ok I will keep the buns I bought & throw them in the freezer I guess. Sooner had said we needed buns so thought is why I bought 48 of each. Oops! No big deal. My family will slowly eat them.

Actually, no. Why?
I replied to your quote w/ one from the new one

Loving the Indiana Jones!!
Yeah! I'm glad someone watched the new one, not as good as the old ones, but glad to see him on the screen again.

upcdayz - what a cool lizard!

Mac and Cheese made, then DH brought home a coworker that wanted to buy two of the roosters, so I had to go chase them down instead of waiting till they were roosting. I'm tired... we'll see if I make the cake tonight or just buy one in the morning. Good news is he thinks he knows someone that wants some of the others, so I may not have to tote anything to poops other than food.

we have rules governing the bringing of birds to poops, if you DONT bring birds to sell/trade/giveaway, you MUST take birds home with you.

sorry, thats the rules!
