***OKIES in the BYC III ***

Okay, I finally got the cane loaded up and now can't remember who was interested in it LOL I dug some roots till I broke the handle out of my shovel the wore myself out with the pick axe I did cut a bunch of the canes that have the offshoots coming out at each node, I saw while I was digging that where the canes had gotten run over a month or so ago that it is rooting all along the nodes where each sucker is growing so I can make up bags as anyone wants some you will just have to cut it into sections and keep them moist and should do well, my neighbor is wanting to make a hedge out front of his property to screen out the folks across the road I'm thinking more like on the line between he and I LOL
Bill I want some of the canes. Reserve me a bunch. They will be shade for the west side of the barn to keep the birds cool.

I'm with you. I love taking pictures of my spiders around here. Snakes too. I got no problem with them, but they need to stay out there and eat the gophers and leave my **** eggs alone.
Well, if I'd known it was gonna censor my words, I would have busted out with a really bad one!

OK, I have the burgers, hotdogs, and buns, Mustard, and cheese, light dill pickles (homemade)
who has the tomatoe, lettuce, onion, and chili?
I have the chili and it is driving me CRAZY! It smells SOOOOO good! 4 lbs organic grass fed beef, a leedle bit of organic home cured dry rub, applewood smoked bacon (for the beans), lots of tomatoes, six kinds of organic beans, organic homemade chicken broth, organic onions, organic garlic, chili powder, cumin powder, fresh ground black pepper, touch of cinnamon, and red wine to deglaze the pan. It's been simmering all afternoon and making me all kinds of hungry. Can't wait!

Is it okay if I bring my own spoon? It kinda looks like an entrenching tool but I do know how to use it, and as long as I have plenty of elbow room no one should get injured....

Was anyone on here looking for Spitzhauben ? I met a lady outside of Norman today that had all kinds of birds! She said she was not on BYC but someone else had told her she needed to be.
A few of the breeds she has are RIR, Buff Orp, Buff Brahma, Speckled Sussex, Marans, Blue Lemon cochins, Spitzhauben and a bunch of bantams. I am not sure on the bantams, she named a bunch of colors but I can't remember them all now. She had many other breeds of LF but these are all I can recall. She also had quail, pigeons, guineas, peacocks, and ducks. I have her name and number if anyone would like the information.

Off Anderson Rd right? If so I just went and seen her this afternoon. Got 3 GLWs, 2 Speckled Sussex and 2 of the Spitzhaubens. Was going to get Buff Orphingtons but then m bestie discovered the Spitzhaubens and I have been wanting some. Hoping 1 is a roo so I can name him Elvis!

Got some more stuff to trade. I gathered up a half dozen really fresh Dominique hatching eggs. Parents are a cock with Farthing lineage crossed on Stichler hens. Sorry they weren't more, but I'm trying to hatch out everything black and white I can this summer to hopefully have something worth showing in December. I have a really nice Buckeye rooster that would be a good foundation roo for someone who wanted to raise Buckeyes. He's big and dark red, with gorgeous sheen on his tailfeathers, and he's a real "boot bird". Such a gentle sweetheart. (I kinda don't want to get rid of him, but my husband is insisting that I can't build TWO new breeding pens and runs this year, only ONE. Soooo unreasonable!) My boys gathered up pretty eggs for the contest, and I have most of the stuff loaded in the van already. Can't wait for tomorrow.
