When they get stressed or sick from something else they'll break out again with the respiratory signs. You can give Tylan 50 injections, 1/2 cc for about 5 day in their left breast muscle. But keep in mind it'll be a constant battle.

Ok, thanks for the info. I thought about putting the Lil' sucker out of its misery but just thought I'd give her some time. I really don't know what to do with her.

Stepping outside here is like walking into a furnace. My girls are all panting and the two cuckoo marans aren't looking great. I've been trying to add more cooling "stuff" to the girls run. There's quite a bit of shade and have misters going along with pans of water with frozen pop/water bottles floating in them, a couple of tiny muddy areas and a box fan set up near their favorite hangout spot. I'm even toying with the idea of adding an old air conditioner to their coop for nighttime cool downs. Any other ideas on how to deal with this heat? And we've probably got two more months of this...

Heh, never replaced a door. Did have to have maintenance look at the doorknob though because one guy just had to get out fast.

Well, I seem to have underestimated how stupid guineas are. I've been scooping them out of my pool all day. They get soaked, chilled, and are acting really shocky. Haven't lost any yet. I just keep scooping them out and putting them in a small cage in the sunroom so they can dry out. *facepalm*

I went ahead and bought a bottle in case I need it, that was before I knew it was specific to MG. I'm a pet owner and I don't breed or show. If some of my favorite birds come down with MG they're getting Denagard.But for people that breed and show and that sort of thing I understand why they'd cull instead. I just don't have the guts to.

Nope. Not my day. This isn't as bad as the time they were too stupid to come in during a blizzard and FROZE TO THE TREES, but it's still pretty bad.
