Hey Okracefan, sorry it has been so long. How are you guys holding up??? DD isn't really doing much with chickens lately but still have everything for now.

We a redoing good. I am adding a room onto our shed cabin so that we can entertain sometimes. getting my flock back up but this time I am doing LF Cochins as my main bird.

Just passing the word. I know most of you if doing anything will be going to Shawnee, but you might want to see some other birds also.

December 8th at the Animal Resource Center in Oklahoma City there will be a big Pet Bird Expo.
Parrots, finches, cages, feed, supplies, the works.

I can bring a variety of pigeons if any one would be interested in any fancy breeds of pigeons.

Good Afternoon Everyone...
Have a quick question for you all... Anna Bell is planning on attending Shawnee this year and
has signed up for Showmanship with her blue cochin hen. Would any of you mind on shooting over
some questions that they may ask her or what have you? She is looking online but I know some
of you have been in her shoes already so I thought I would ask.
Carl AnndBell also wants to bring you out some silkie eggs when you have that bator of yours
going and have a look at your chicken farm again.
Betsy is also on her list to say hello at.
Edited because she wants very much to say hello to Larry's first mother as well.

The incubator is up and running at the moment just call, I am currently setting eggs everyother sunday to keep hatches a little further apart during the winter.
For showmanship have her read the standard for the breed very well and help her understand it. questions are often related to the breed standard, or parts of the bird sometimes both. You will also want to work with the bird on a tabletop preferably with a treat held in the hand to keep the bird posed well.
