Walmart paint is ok for this type of job, it is still way better than Home depot's paint that stuff is the pitt's (Behr brand), so go with the walmart stuff. Get a dark color or close, light will show everything and you won't like it. oh yea and no girly colors my spray rig doesn't work when I shoot girly colors through it LOL. Cool I am ready when you are just give me a shout.

I just got back from meeting Sooner and getting some chicks to her. While I was talking to her Lynn (Greybear) called. So I have seen two of our folks and talked to another in two days.

Na Na, I pm'd Tine about Lynn but I haven't heard back. I was supposed to get some chicks to her as well.

I spent a lot of the day hauling stuff. I wish they would throw in the barn. I'd tear it down and move it over here.

There is huge set of breeding pens I could have but it is not in great shape. If I tried to move it I am sure it would crumble and if I tore it down I don't think I could salvage enough of it to make it worthwhile. It is 8'x8'x60. It would work great where it is.
There is another set a little smaller but it is in bad shape.

What's that mean - What did you do with the swarm? Curious minds want to know!

The swarm went into an empty bee hive box, along with some frames of foundation for the bees to turn into honeycomb so they can lay eggs, raise baby bees and make honey. The swarm turned out to be only two blocks from the house of a beekeeper friend, so we just set up a hive at her house and dumped the bees inside the hive box, added a feeder of sugar and put on the lid. The bees should establish themselves in the new hive and she will have a good hive of Italian bees.

These bees weren't as "dashing" as Al in his chef's hat, but the food (honey) they make is as delicious in its own category as that prepared by Al
