Is it ok to tentatively RSVP for the POOPS... Although ours will be for the day...

Its also my sons birthday...lol he will be 9 and he is usually pretty cool about doing crazy things instead of a party.. ha ha

So I say if its cool for the tenative thing add 4 people to the Barn Swallows RSVP.... and as I get closer to having a 100% sure thing I will also pitch in with something for food and misc items

Spent the day with a bazillion other teachers for our first day of professional development. We had a great speaker, I bought a few CDs, and at lunch time I was invited to go to Chili's with another teacher new to the district and three old timers. What a blast. Muskogee teachers rock!

It's raining here, but just a little. I hope it develops into a full-blown storm. We need more rain than just this spittle we're getting.

If I owe you a PM, please be patient. When I got home today my computer wouldn't boot

, so I'm using DH's computer, which is set up upside down and backwards to accommodate his carpel tunnel syndrome. The keyboard's ergonomic and custom, and the mouse is on the wrong side, and that's probably more than anyone needed to know. Know that I'm working to get caught up. Thanks for your patience.

I would like to add some Easter Eggers to my wish list!!! Good evening everyone I hope all is doing well, we only have gotten a very little bit of rain but is cooled off from 85 to 75 in about 30 minutes!!!

This is very off topic but could surely use some help here... for a while now we have been on the hunt for a Flock Guardian to protect our farm babies, we are in search of a Great Pyrenees in the Oklahoma area.... I have searched online with pet finder and breeder sites only to see the "have puppies" are very old listings... For those of you peepsters that also keep other sorts of livestock outside chickendom(like myself) know of anyone that breeds the GP that may have some babies or young dogs that are being trained in the livestock guarding aspect that could be available for adoption/purchase. I am looking for pure bred preferably. We are having the hardest time locating someone in the OK area... THANK YOU and I do apologize that this is so WAY OUT THERE, but I was trying to stay within the great state for this...

Thanks

JEANNIE

Jeannie,

My wife raises mini-schnauzers and they are great at keeping an eye on the birds. I've never had an instance of them chasing or harming birds but they are good at killing cats and coons and other vermin. They protect their charges and attack everything else.

They are the animal equivalent of lawyers.

Hey Carla, Carla Did you see this?

I do not need to hatch more chicks!

I think 2 sportsman incubators and one hatcher are quite enough already, at least until we retire & can spend more time on birds. Thanks for thinking of me though.
