I will stop turning them very very soon, they should hatch out this weekend if we are lucky. I did have three nice ones from my last hatch 2 mo ago but I think some of the other teenagers bullied them a bit and they got skinned up some on their backs, I have them in a seperate pen, they are healing very well and are otherwise healthy but I may not bring them if they look less than really good. they will be just fine once they go into full molt the first time that is a good ways off 1 yr -18 mo.

AL

poor little ones, are they brahama pullets? do you have pics of them? course i have 2 little BA about a week old to keep company with the ones i get at poops...

I can get pic's of them for you this weekend no problem, they still look very good you have to dig into feathers to see the spots. yes they are Light Brahma pullets, they are about 2 mo+old. We will have to wait and see what happens with this current hatch one never knows these things LOL.

Football post! We didn't win
roll.png
but my kid (yes Al...Bubba) tackled for a loss and caused a fumble!!! Or the other couple kids that hit the kid did
wink.png
As far as I could tell he was flawless...my wife's kid might have missed a few tackles but my kid was great!

This is so much more enjoyable when you have a dog in the hunt! I like football but I love watching my boys!!!

I gotta go to bed!

Hey, just a few updates before I head off to bed...
Momma's home from the hospital, I'm sooo happy!!!!!!!!
I lost one of my EE's yesterday to the neighbors dog, She got out of the pen, all three of the EE's had gotten out, yesterday and ended up in the neighbor's yard... My neighbor brought her over when my parents got home from the hospital.
I'm still not over it.

Yep yep yep, I sure did. Still cloudy and ucky here today. I have a jungle out there and need to mow. Was good that I did get to mow before it started raining many moons ago for the most part.

Lucky you. I do have to remember the hat. I can't believe Tina doesn't want to wear it. I tried to find more like it but they were made special for an event and I only got one. i have some other hats Tina could wear.

Chicks are still hatching but I am not sure how good this first batch will do. I had some older eggs I put in to fill out the tray.
Looks like there are about 20 so far.

On a good note ive got some project lav orps that are turning out nice. There not to big but already the 5 splitlav/black have a nice green sheen going and the 2 lav's appair to be both hens.

As to where ive been when i find a good book/series I cant stop reading long enough to be much good for anything else. Ive been reading a book series called the wheel of time. Its excellent. Just finished the 6th book and got the next 5 coming next week from Amazon.
