Monty, I missed that too. We need to add Barnswallow and Cook-e to our little group because they have some good stories too.

I don't know about sharing stories on here tho. With the statute of limitations and all. But we'll have another chance. I have to meet Al in Cement some time in the near future. Maybe we can all meet down there for a day of coffee and stories.

That sounds like a great plan. I'd love to do that.
Although Al may not want to see me for awhile as much as he has had to talk to me over the last few months.

I should've done some homework at POOPS. I've been working on a take home exam ALL evening, still not done. And need to start writing another wetland paper... Anyone know what the most navigable river in Oklahoma is???

I would say the Arkansas river or the Verdigris river.

Wouldn't that be the Arkansas?

I'd think the Arkansas - it has the McClellan-Kerr Navigation system - with locks. You can get on a boat at the Port of Catoosa and float all the way to New Orleans, I've heard.

Stimpy, What do you feed your White Rocks???

I got home and opened the cartons to look at your eggs and... they were HUGE! I had to get my light out to check a couple to make sure they weren't double yokers. They weren't. Maybe I'm used to little chickens.

Jarvis, I have the Ginger Reds in the family room with me now chowing down on their "special" food. Thanks for all great info! I've already started putting it to use.

Muesky, I look forward to getting to see your "boys". The showgirl roo is content and resting in his own private pen. (He has to wait for his girls to grow up.)

The poor D'Uccle that I got in the auction that even have that to look forward to. He's the one and only on my place. But he was so pretty.

Thanks to the lady who gave Corey the Barred Rocks. (Sorry, I cannot remember your name.)

So Beth, are you planning a P.O.O.P.S. cruise?

My hubby has a motorcycle that I'm trying to get him to sell. Maybe I need to get with your wife on that one. Lol

Before they built the dams in OKC the Canadian river was, after all you could drive semis up the middle of the dry bed all the way to the Canton dam!!

But yes it's the Arkansas. From Catoosa you can ship goods all the way to the Gulf.

Okay a couple of you have talked about what you brought home, now lets hear about the rest. What new birds do you have no. Greatly enjoyed the pics so. Please put some names with your pics so we can figure out who is who! Liked the pics of the birds too. Would have loved those runners and the box of bay chicks would have been hard to turn down too!Glad everyone had a great time.Looks like there were a lot of birds there.
