Hey-ho, hey-ho Okies!!

dachsunds - did you see where Split Socket 222 commented on the chickens you got at the Amish sale? (quote below) I looked them up on feathersite and they do look like the Asils posted there and on links.

City you are always so cheerful!!!

Dash, it looks like my kinda place!! Glad you had lots of fun!!! Thank you for posting pic's of everything. I was checking out the diamond studded buggy too! LOL.

Good morning to you, Aloisius and Soonerlicious!

I hope your Mondays are good - sorry about your cobwebbed work phone, Al.

The sun is trying to peek out here - if it does I might be able to talk Jack the Man into coming over and helping me wrestle his table saw out and set it up so I can make this ONE CUT on this heavy sheet of pressure-treated plywood. My compost pile is currently just a pile of stuff surrounded by wire - I'm trying to build a wooden bin to facilitate turning it, etc. I got out my PHD yesterday (post hole diggers) and used Mr. Choppy the chop saw to cut and set the two main posts, so besides cutting that heavy sheet for the sides, I think the hard work is done.

Beth : If you have a regular hand held circular saw just screw or nail a strip of wood onto the plywood at the correct distance from the cut line, and rip away keeping the saw's guide fence touching the wood strip. Remove the strip when done and BATTA BING your a pro.

Hey Beth, I have a friend who uses 55 gallon barrels with the lock type lids. He uses them for compost and then when he wants to turn them he just rolls the barrels around.
Be careful though he learned the hard way about keeping compost in one with the lid locked. Now he makes sure there is plenty of air flow.
Of course I know you are using this excuse to get Jack the man to work his tail off for you.

In Beth's sweetest voice,
"Dear Jack Can you please come over and help me make one little cut with the table saw. Oh and since you are here sweetie, will you please build me a new West wing?"
