Al as soon as the DW gets home with the camera I will take some pictures, It still looks like a washer and still has the wash tub instead of half a barrel I cut the bottom of the wash tub out, I am convinced the motor is probably fried so I am going to be on the look out for another washer to use but this time I am going to rent a Plasma cutter

Mom isn't much of a computer or chicken person, but I can't hold that against here since she puts up with my birds and all the things that come with them

Grace is right. Mom's great but not into tech toys.
I don't post a lot but I do read everything.
Really, I know a lot about computers but Grace has me 100 to 1 on birds. She knows a LOT about poultry so I am comfortable to let her post for the family.

an almost tragedy this afternoon- one of my BO girls snuck into the dog pen, just so happened i came around the corner, the roo chased all the girls into the barn, hubby grabbed the hoe and got the dog away from her (buddy is a healer/lab and big, wouldn't listen to me), he had managed to have a great time pulling her feathers, can't find any puncture wounds- dang Spice the BO anyway- since there is no visible damage- is there anything i should be giving her?

Perhaps the it's just the magnito that shorted out or the little regulator on the motor, either way pull out the multimeter and test the output. If the motor spun to fast without the gearbox that could be it, or if by adding more than 1 bird it triggered the balance sensors on the drum. Just thinking out loud on some possibilities.

I wonder how Charley's plucker is coming along he was supposed to start his also this weekend.

Evening folks!

Welcome all the new members, you have found the best place on the BYC!!!

Q: would you like maps to Fayetteville?? Be glad to email them from work Monday.

Madison is sick so no trick or treating for us. She played her soccer game this morning said her tummy felt funny but seemed ok when we stopped at the store for a drink and she lost it......no candy for her this year.

Somebody please smack me!!!! I really don't know how it happened but I think in a rare moment of weakness it appears i have unwittingly agreed to take my DD and 4 of her friends to the Trail of fear. A very large haunted house kinda thing with three venues or trails . Imagine me stuck in the middle of 4 screaming screeching teenage girls, I need some medication or a stiff belt or two or both hehehe LOL.

I ordered a large stock pot (200qt) to use as the tub and it won't be till Monday. They said it would be here Friday but got a noticed it was postponed till Monday.

After I saw Al's big bean pot, I thoght that would sure make a great plucker.
