Hey Monty....am I correct that I read on here that there will be chickens for sale on Saturday morning at 7:00am? If that's the case if you go to breakfast we'll miss out on the best pickens. My mom always said "the early bird catches the worm". I don't want to miss out so I'm not sure if we will be at breakfast. I would be so ticked if I missed out on a good bird.

You guys are making me sad that I won't be there....

I hate to say this but I don't think I could choke down the black chicken...maybe if I shut my eyes? Does it taste the same...I think Monty was right it loooks like snake...Pozole is the soup...it is wonderful, I make mine with pork necks. I can always tell when I am getting run down...I crave Pozole and orange juice. Something about the cabbage, lime and oregano ministers to the soul. My best friend makes it every New Years....I skip the radishes. A lady at my church sells tamales....going to get some for Mikey for christmas.

Donna congrats on the anniversary. My greatest gift from God is having a great hubby. It makes me rage when stupid people at his work try to electrocute him! I need him in MY life. I'm about ready to go in and have a "chat" with his boss... this is getting ridiculous....

Am having a Maribeth cocktail right now.....just got done doing some house cleaning and stuff...gotta do a lot of paperworky type things today. Got a women's dinner tonight. I hate that foo-foo women's crap. Someone bought me a ticket "anonymously" to be nice so I have to go....

Think I'll wear thermals, carhart and chore boots.....

Teach em to give ME a ticket...

Well I just looked through the Bino's at the coop and saw that I was successful in getting that coon that got my Quail last night. A really big Female, I have reduced the population quite a bit this year as I have trapped at least 20+ since spring.

We have a room reserved at Abuelita Rosas Mexican restaurant for1 p.m. on Saturday. I can make it a little later if I need to.
The place is located on Hwy 177 just south of I-40 and is about three miles Northwest of the Expo center where the show is being held.
The actual street address is 37304 35 St. and the phone # is 405-878-9844.
I am gonna start a list of those that know or think they know they will be going to the group luncheon.

THIS JUST IN. . . .

I just got off the phone with Terry Britt who is one of the coordinators for the Shawnee show. They will start setting up the tables and cages starting at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday and will be there all day.

They welcome anyone who would like to volunteer to come and help set up.
Truly a great way to learn from the ground up about how a show is run.
You might be able to pick some brains and get some insider info on a plethora and platitude of chicken and show topics.

I am gonna try and go some on Thursday. Anyone want to join me let me know.
