It is freaking cold!!! This hauling water morning and night and all that is gonna kill me! Stupid cold...

Mike - nice deer! It is always important that the first one be...a deer...other than that it don't matter! Get them hooked first!! Was she totally freaked? My boys were bouncing all over the stand!

I am getting chickens this weekend!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Morning everyone. Hope you are enjoying this ice, cause I HATE it. The kids are out of school today. The road conditions are just too bad here. The bus was supposed to be here on time but arrived almost an hour late. I decided it would be best to keep them here. It took my friend an hour and a half to drive 20 miles to work.

Hey Roy are you still gonna come by my house? If so, what time. I need to get my schedule figured out. I need to know if you will be here Friday or really late Saturday. Are you still gonna take these suicidal bantams of my hands? I'm tired of blow drying! No really it was just the one time.

I am just completely worn out. I went to work at 4:30 in the morning yesterday and didn't get home until 8:00 last night. I finally made it to bed around 12:30 and then up again to get the kids ready for school at 6:00 this morning. I only managed about 8 hours of sleep all weekend. We went to the Christmas party for my job. Didn't get home until 2:30 in the morning but had a great time.

Lauren went to school yesterday. It was the first time since her surgery. I had talked to the teacher and she told me to send her a list of rules on how to deal with it. I spent an hour trying to think of everything that needed to be on the list because I wanted to be specific. When she got home from school, my husband freaked out. Someone had completely unwrapped her hand. I was so mad when he called. He rushed her over to me at the clinic and I had the nurses help me clean her up and get her bandaged back up. I hope it didn't get infected. I don't know who did it or why, but it does make me wonder about sending her back. I can't keep taking off work to stay home with her.

I wasn't gonna take my shoes off to finish counting so I stopped at ten.
A few more FOOS than that in there.
I am gonna get most of them in a brooder soon.
I just don't want to have the incubator open any more than I have to.

Oh Well I always just counted the whole finger never broke in down in parts although I have broken a few fingers before. Now I can count to 30 just using my hands.

I know there are some of the FOOS that need to come out but then there are some that don't plus there are still several eggs that may hatch so I didn't want to open it until I have to.

Carah, she doesn't know who did it. Well she won't talk about it so I guess she doesn't know. She won't even say if it was a kid or an adult.

Everybody be careful - it's just raining here, not freezing yet. So that means....ICE! yick.

I'm about to get ready to flee the cold and drive to TX. Jack, Titus and me are going down to visit some of my parents.

Tomorrow we're going to the Bureau of Engraving and Printing in Fort Worth - anybody need anything?
