Artsy - That is amazing! Those are the types of rescues I've always dreamed of growing up. Lol. I've never been so lucky though. I did come across a Cockatiel on a power line a couple years ago. I spent many hours trying to coax him down, but he wasn't having it. I'm in the process of trying to train my new Budgie right now. I'd have tons of birds if hubby wasn't so opposed. His grandma always had large and multiple cages of finches, the noise was deafening. So that ruined the whole bird thing for him.

Even worse incident with his own chickens several years ago, so he's still warming back up to the idea of having them.

Blah blah blah...

I like how Jason had to jump on to defend himself. Lol

Dandelion - Thanks for posting the Cement stuff again, and for getting it to me. Sorry I didn't save it earlier, I've had way to much goin on to think practically. Lol

Oh that makes me feel magnificently smart! Thanks, I needed that!

osu - Guess the college students are always the last to bed. Lol

Hey does anyone else play piano? I'm looking for a couple particular pieces of Christmas music.

Morning Okies! been up since 3, dang dog wanted out, so once i'm awake forget goin back to sleep..... but i had a bright idea about the roo...i'll let him out of the run in the am, give him some run around time by himself, maybe he'll simmer down??

hey country! in the spring go look under billboards and signs where the babies fall in the nite- but it takes lots of commitment, feeding them that young every half hour during the day- i love working with these guys- mosart had a pet starling he wrote a funeral dirge for him...

so - off to shopping early and home again... was thinking of listing these on the 'everything else' for sale section...think they'll sell? they are small..anyway...have a good one everyone!

I sport a little ink as well and it is all home spun. Teva has some too. Never been one to pre judge someone for their looks or what they wear. I look in the mirror and I see that I can't really afford to.

I have 3 tattoos and 2 piercing, one is a nose stud. I see nothing wrong with tats or piercings. The only thing I tell my kids is thst I will allow them to have certain piercing for now ( nose stud, ears, and belly), when they turn 18 they can have any other piercings or tattoos they want. I say 28 this way if they ever regret it then they cant blame me for giving them permission.

I havent seen Monty, is there anything we can help with?

My car just broke down at Choctaw Road. My mechanic thinks it is a hose, but I can't find it.

Good mornin' Okies.

It's going to be our last pretty day for awhile, so we should all strive to get the outside chores done before the cold comes back. Personally, I am going to try to build a new and improved brooder. It's either that, or turn off the incubator.

My 14 year old grandson tried out for for the pitching coach of a regional baseball team yesterday. Not being a big baseball fan, my daughter had to explain it to me. These are the kids that you see come up thru regional tournaments to play in the Little League World Series. He made the team and his first game is in Arizona on the 28th or 29th of this month (I don't know that he'll get any time on the mound in this game or not). That's pretty cool.

OK, I stand corrected. I checked my facts with my daughter just now and the team is a national tournament team. They are just above the age for the World Series. They stop at the national level. Forgive my error. So, if you get a chance, root for the Oklahoma Blacksox. He told his mom last night that "it could have been worse, it could have been the Yankees." My daughter is a huge Red Sox fan, and hates anything relating to New York. She says she's not even a fan of the Statue Of Liberty because it's in New York harbor.

Definitely post these in the auction section, Robin - I'll bet they will sell! By the way, the top of the first painting was at the bottom of my screen while I was catching up, and I didn't realize it was a painting, not a photograph, until I took a good look at it. Great job!
