I hope you have some enjoyable things on your list for today Al. It will be warm again soon - I keep telling myself that...

Now I must head upstairs and get cleaned up for the day - hockey calls!

My last name is Winsworth. However, my mother's family homesteaded in this area - just north of Seminole. The cemetary at Little is full of various family members. Her maiden name was Spoonemore.

I do not know that last name. My family's name is Nunnelley, and then of course all those that have been married. Way too many names. I have a cousin that has a beauty shop over there off Hwy 99.

My daughter's were friends with some Nunnelleys. Where is the beauty shop?

Morning Okes

Was up all night running around in my nightshirt and carhart coat with the .22 chasing whatever got into the pen and scared the bejeebers out of the hens....I might have a stake out tonight.

Tomorrow is going to be a great day! We will be processing our experimental meat flock. I culled out the 8 biggest Dark Cornish hens and the three biggest roosters during my split shift yesterday and they are all in the chicken yard (they had been in the tractor). That will be the start of our parent flock. The rest were fed a hearty breakfast of cracked corn mixed with game bird feed this morning, their last meal in anticipation of tomorrow's big event.

Then tomorrow evening we will be off to the big auction in Fletcher. Gotta get my processing done early enough to make it to the junk portion of the sale at 3:30. Last minute Christmas shopping, you know.

So anybody else going to Fletcher? At least to the poultry part at 5?

Buster someday I hope to be like you. Just don't think I am there yet. Hope you get done early so you can finish your shopping. I know you are shopping for all your chicken buddies!
