Alright - now they match and I don't have to strain my eyes to try and read the title on the avatar. Thanks.

Yeah, I'm hoping people know how to read my signature in relation to the avatar... wouldn't want them to think I'm calling myself a Chicken Obsessed God.

I would love to have a hot pink silkie. That would be the bomb=digity. Actually I think we will keep them especially since they are free and all but one of my silkies got eaten. I have a bunch of little white chicks which I think are broilers or production white. They are big compared to the silkies, almost twice the size. The have yellow legs and they are white that is all I know about them.

I went to poker dealer school in Las Vegas. It's 5 days a week, 5 hours a day, for 3 weeks and costs about $800 (the cheap part of the trip). When I finished I audtioned at Creek Nation Casino (now River Spirit) in Tulsa. Dealers audition, they don't interview. Mine lasted about 45 minutes and they drilled me on all the games, at the end of the audition they hired me.

There is no training program at the casino, we only hire those who can already deal at a casino level. The best advice I can give to someone is to do as I did and go to the school. If you apply yourself and do well you can make up to 60K a year, some make less, some more experienced dealers make much more. None that I know make less than 40K a year, and that's a new dealer in thier first year at the job.

Dang this sounds like fun... I wanted to go to CIA Sniper school whern I was in high school...Still would like to learn to shoot and do it in competition.

Cool, do you get to take people out and thump them like they do in Vegas?

Taking people out yes, Thumping no, do I ever want to? ABSOLUTELY!!!

Nope, no thumping. I'm to lazy for all that. If I have to ask someone to leave (when I'm working as the floorman in the poker room) and they don't want to go I just call those really big Creek Nation cops on the radio and they come running, they live for that sort of thing

I'm a "dual rate" now. Some days I deal, some days I'm the supervisor.

No, I don't think so. Our casino is putting us through this customer service training thing called SPARKS... I forget the instructors name, what he looks like, & what the training was about exactly, but it was a really good class as I recall.
