Big gun nut too so those things tend to catch my attention, especially the fact that almost no cop carries a revolver anymore even for an off duty or back up gun.

That's because alot of those writers seem to have the attention span of a goldfish. They forget their point mid sentence and just say "umm ... and then the hot chick's shirt falls off!"
