Actually, I like the auctioneer at Fletcher. Much better than the guy at Cement, who doesn't seem to know his birds all that well either. I don't mean to pick on the guy, but he doesn't seem to know what he is doing. At least the Fletcher guy has a decent cadence and actually sounds like an auctioneer. He was one of the auctioneers at Blanchard before he switched to Fletcher, and I thought he was better than the new Blanchard auctioneer, too, whose aggressive style I find grating. "HEY!!! LOOK UP HERE!!!"

Just my two cents.

There is one thing he may want to change, though. I'm not sure its a good idea to encourage the seller to PO. When you ask "Is that okay? Sell 'em?" it puts the idea in the seller's head that there might be something wrong with the price. It's the seller's job to call for a PO without invitation. But that is a small matter to fix... just stop doing it.

I am thinking that this isn't the Kelleyville on the Missouri border, I think this one is down by Tulsa or something like that.

I have to agree with Jimmie Johnson on that score. Those guys are professionals. There's no room in pro football for hurt feelings. On the college level, I'd question a coach who still had his starters on the field at that point in the game. But in the pros? Yeah, they need to be out there earning their obscene paychecks. And you can't tell them to play at half speed.

It wasn't the players, it was the coach's decision. If they run the ball and the guy busts loose and scores, that's one thing. But to call a passing play? Into the end zone? That's called running up the score. Eagles ran up the score on the Boys last year and payed for it by getting stomped all three times they played this year.

And it isn't like Jimmie has an agenda against the Cowboys' owner or anything. I'll tell you this... there is no way Jimmie would have run that play. No way. He would have called a running play, pure and simple.

Yeah, and the cowboys ran up the scores. They all do it. Johnson did it when he was a coach, Bradshaw did it when he was calling plays.
I have always hated the cowboys. I was a fan of Roger Staubach when he was at Navy, but stopped when he went to dallas. It wouldn't bother me if they never won another game. When asked, I always reply that I am not a fan of professional football, I'm a Raiders fan. I have been since the days of George Blanda and Fred Bilitnakov.

I hatched twins from a single egg that I thought must have been a double yolker, but since neither chick survived, I may have been wrong.

Tandy here is the post that SC made on the incubator. If your better half could look at it I know it would be much appreciated.

Here are some more great chicken photos from Okla-Doodle-Doo/Wayne in Tennessee. I don't know how he keeps finding such great birds everywhere, but I'm sure glad he sends pictures!! Wayne - feel free to jump on and give some more explanation about these birds!

The first pic is of the Crele OE,
