HAHAHAHAHAHA! Suuuuuuuuuure. I think not!
The main reasons I'm not going for a metal shed, btw, are these:
1. Without cutting into the shed, and possible screwing up the structural integrity of the dang thing, how do I ventilate it properly?
2. Same question, just with windows instead. Oh, and insulation... how do you insulate a metal shed?
3. Sliding doors + Faerie = big problem... I can't keep the shed I've got's doors on the stupid slide rail.
4. In 2007, a limb from a mulberry tree came down on my metal shed. It was pretty crushed. The REST of the mulberry tree fell on my neighbor's wooden shed. It was a simple matter of cutting the tree down off the shed and re-shingling. I think I got the slack end of that deal.
Btw, it was her (neighbor's) tree, so she replaced my shed.

I can just imagine! I just convienced him to let me have call ducks. If I try for peafowl so soon even the chickens might be looking for a new home.

Faerie - This Saturday is Blanchard Auction. Do you plan on attending? and if so do you need one of us to swing by and snatch you so you actually make? I have faith that once you go to your first one then you will become a regular. It is addicting.... dont tell anybody I said that, dont want to scare off the newbies!

Personally I think they should do away with football altogether and switch to Roller Ball like in the movie. Now that I would watch.

Sooner - Glad to hear you are feeling better. If I were you I would still go see a doctor.
Stephanie - You know you want peafowl. Just point out to Carl that when they mature you can sell the eggs on ebay for 10-15 dollars an egg. (Just leave out that it takes 3 years for them to mature.
I totally forgot that Blanchard was this Saturday and made plans. Crud on a cracker! Faerie you totally have to go but be aware you may start planning all you other social activities around poultry auctions.
Seems like many of you are up and around early. I was late waking up so the birds are a bit miffed at be. Oh well I throw in some leftovers and they will be happy.
So does anyone of some gizmo that has a pully and a timer I can set to open the chicken door to the coop in the morning so I do not have to go out early in the morning (especially on weekends and holidays) to let the chickens out. I think at this point I would pay some premium money for something like that. I am really not lazy, just like to sleep in uninterupted sometimes.
Well going to go see what there is to scrunge up for breakfast. Be back soon!
