I knew we had too many toms, but I didn't realize we had more toms than hens even. Now the toms are all beginning to argue with each other, so we've got to sell some.

Faerilady got all her chickens processed and she didn't gag a single time.

Now she has to do the time consuming part of processing - rewashing the chickens and preparing them for the freezer.

Good evening everyone,

Got all the critters taken care of... My hubby, Doc, Is building me another brooder that will have 3 or 4 compartments in it... I have 150+ Eggs in my incubators. He is doing his best to make room for all of them.

I had to make a dog pen today to hold all 4 of our dogs.... They have started chasing my chickens and I am NOT having that!

Come inside and cooked my family "BUCK HASH" hominy, and sweet peas for supper.... OH it was delicious!

Hubby been glued to the tv since the games come on.....

Just trying to unwind for the evening....

We are home..... and exhausted!!! Got to see Kate today and sent her home with lots of goodies. Hope she checks in when she gets home, I would hate to be accused of holding someone for randsom again( not naming any names, TEACH).

We are not moving, you couldnt pay me to move! When we bought this house almost 10 years ago we had enough stuff then that we had decided we didnt need to move again. After 10 years in the same house, no way am I packing things! Our nephew is going to college in Chickasha and we found a house to buy that was cheap. It will save a bunch compared to what the want for dorm fees and we can sell the house when he is done for a profit. So all works out.

It's good that I didn't get it though ... our truck bed was stacked 3 high with cages & we had to drive 30 miles an hour all the way home for fear of losing our load.

You know, I think I have to agree with Jeannie ... we need a VIP section ... reserved tables with fancy comfy chairs, and make that front row seating, PLEASE.
