To All Okies in BYC :

We at Blanchard enjoyed each and everyone of you last Saturday Night. It is always good to hear that everyone enjoys to get together. May have to find more tables for you all or get larger building. Think we will just find more tables. If we did not get to shake or meet everyone we apoligize, work must go on. We are getting ready for next sale, Feb 13.Since so close to Valentines we may have to figure out something special.

If you need to get hold of us here are the phone numbers Jerry 405-623-9293 and Jim 405-812-7552

Have been so busy that we have not everything change. As you can see it is always late when we can get on the computer.

May have to look into the idea of big screen tv. May have to find some bid catchers to help auctioneers (any volunteers).

I do not what it is but i always end up buying a few chickens. You think i am becoming addicted.

Thanks to everyone
Jerry

I just told J that for Valentine's day, he HAS to take me to the auction. He agreed... mainly because he values his life and it wouldn't be worth a plug nickel. Now let's just hope the weather cooperates.

I'm really going to bed now. The painkillers for my neck are kicking in... beginning to feel woozy.

I back on line ,a worm hit my computer this weekend. Had to listen to my son throw a fit because it take him two hours to fit it. I am going to buy three different protection. Because he left a long line of things I couldn't do.
Anyone have some companies that good.
He says if I ever buy Panda again he shot my PC.
I reminded him that I babysit all the time and for a lot longer than for just two hours. And I remind him I am still his mom and can bust his butt.
For some reason he just stared to die laughing.
I am 5 ft 4 and he 6 ft 2 and weights twice as much as I do but I can still hit a run faster then he can. I also reminded him I paid to his college where he learned to fix and build them, then decided to changes his major.

So, what been going on

Any good buys at the sale the other night?

its used in cooking to keep icing soft, so i guess its in the baking section, my daughter had an extra bottle, so gave it to me- she ordered it online

edited: i just did a search. says it should be near the jello, apparently there is a non-food glycerin also

My feed store carries glycerin in gallon jugs.

I use it in soap, lip gloss, bath salts and hand lotion.

I did make it home, just been really tired today and had to run around everywhere getting everything done since I was gone all weekend long. Plus, Char had ballet and basketball practice tonight.

Kate bought them. I hope she gets a good hatch

I hope she does to!! I have to get some eggs for my bators so that I can fire it back up I am looking at some on E-Bay right now we will see if I can win those!

Charlotte is really excited about the Porcelains, her favorite chicken "Buddy" was a porcelain D'Uccle. That was one of the other things I took care of today. I got the bator all set up and ready, placed X's and O's on all the eggs we got this weekend and got them started. Of course, I had to endure a little bit of lecturing from the DH about coming home with more, but I am sure he will be just fine. Besides when they start hatching he gets all eggcited then. So we are also keeping our

for a good hatch! I can hardly wait, I wish it was like 12 days instead of 21, LOL. So now I have in the bator RIR, D'Uccles, and Cochins. Now I am going to have to keep an eye out for some silkies, hehehe. Especially, the pink with purple splashed silkies, Charlottes ultimate foo foo bird.

Actually, she really likes the buff silkies so I have been trying to keep an eye out for some good buff silkies that perhaps she can show this year along with her Polish hen "sweetie pie".

Yeah this weather thing kind of popped out of no where......heck I thought spring was here.

Someone said something about a foot of snow and I was like "Those poor Canadians"......then saw it was for us. Booo.

hi again guys- just read the local warnings- muskogee

HAZARDOUS WEATHER... * RAIN WILL TRANSITION TO FREEZING RAIN... SLEET... AND FINALLY SNOW BEGINNING THURSDAY MORNING AND CONTINUING THROUGH FRIDAY MORNING. THE HEAVIEST PRECIPITATION IS EXPECTED LATE THURSDAY THROUGH THURSDAY NIGHT.

* 4 TO 8 INCHES OF SNOW AND SLEET ACCUMULATION ARE EXPECTED WITH ISOLATED AMOUNTS NEAR 10 INCHES POSSIBLE. THE HEAVIEST SNOWS ARE FORECAST ALONG AND NORTH OF A LINE FROM BRISTOW TO BENTONVILLE. ALSO... ICE ACCUMULATIONS OF ONE QUARTER TO ONE HALF INCH WITH ISOLATED AMOUNTS APPROACHING ONE INCH ARE POSSIBLE... WITH THE HEAVIEST AMOUNTS NEAR A LINE FROM OKEMAH TO FAYETTEVILLE.

IMPACTS... * SIGNIFICANT ICE ACCUMULATION ON TREES AND POWER LINES IS LIKELY... WHICH WOULD CAUSE POWER OUTAGES THAT MAY LAST FOR SEVERAL DAYS.

* ROADS... BRIDGES... AND OVERPASSES WILL BECOME SLICK AND HAZARDOUS IN THE WATCH AREA... MAKING TRAVEL TREACHEROUS.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... * CONSIDER CHANGING TRAVEL PLANS. MAKE SURE YOU HAVE AN ADEQUATE SUPPLY OF FOOD... WATER AND THE NECESSARY MEDICATION TO LAST THROUGH THE DURATION OF THE WINTER STORM.

hmmmm...making a grocery list, when we lose power here, it isn't just for a few days....thats why we have old smoky the woodstove

I seem to recall TJ's NaNa saying that the Farmer's Almanac was predicting a snow storm the 1st week of February. How do those books printed a year in advance do that? Is is just statistical that we would have a heavy snow another time before Spring? Drat those persimmon seeds and their spoons inside the seed. Looks like the persimmons might be right also.
