The next Blanchard auction is still 2 weeks away. You should be thinking of the Guy Rose auction near Stillwater or the Cement auction or even the Chupps auction in Inola .... all next Saturday

Gerald & I will go to one next Saturday, unless I'm forced to work overtime.

I think we need to have a coyote-calling party...they are getting thick again here. If we grill ANYTHING outside they come in VERY close. A few weeks ago we had one nonchalantly walk by our gate in the backyard! Ohhhhh I hate coyotes! I wouldn't mind if they ate the rabbits and other critters that are plentiful here. Dang coyotes!

I guess I lost track of when the next one is. Where is Guy Rose? The last time we went to Cement, we were the last lot to sell--and we were lot 10!! LOL! We did get to see Mike, Al and Marybeth...that was worth the trip! We got there late as it was (about 15 minutes late) and almost missed it entirely! I wonder if Cement will be cancelled...sounds like they are in pretty bad shape out there.

Perkins Auction: (Guy Rose poultry auction)
Every Saturday at 9:30 a.m.
Located about three miles north of Highway 33 on 177. Just south of Stillwater.

Yeah, I don't know if Cement will have an auction next Saturday. I guess it depends on how bad that ice storm was and if they'll have power by then.

Chupps is a great auction to go to if the weather is good. Usually there's a great selection, plus you can go look at several other auctions going on at the same time. The bad thing is it's I think at 8:00 in the morning and so far away from Tuttle.

So, we picked up some extra supplies for the long haul while in town, got our daughter situated back in one of the rentals, did the tourist thing to all the downed power poles and street lights, got home and went right to work on the generator. Took about a half hour to get it running and my freezer plugged in (the big priority). I was just finishing up getting things squared away with the extra supplies and DW runs out shouting about how the power is back on.

I probably would have been mad if I hadn't been so happy.

At some point I went to check the Internet satellite dish and found the pointer thingy completely covered with about a half inch of solid ice. I assumed that would mean I would still be without Internet since there was no way it could get a signal through all that ice. Well, here I am.

Amazing. One minor miracle after another.

Sooner Have you heard anything about the new hospital in muskogee. Need to know a name or company behind it.
Uneventful day here. Made a pot of chilli. Chased startlings out of the pigeon loft.Waded around in the snow.Hate hearing about poor Al. Thats a long time to do without electric.

Teach we still need pics of what you are constructing!

Hey Buster! My satellite dish for internet service looks the same as yours! I am amazed that it still works! Our TV sattelite looks the same and we have no problem with it either. We have had some miracles our direction too! If it did have problems you woulda seen me out there with an extention cord and a hair dryer melting all that ice off!

No I ain't kidding...doubtful anyone is gonna show-up...but willing to give it a go!

I shall try to post that tomorrow Wayne...should have the other one done. I hate sparrows and starlings...the bunch of free loaders!

I haven't been there & haven't really payed too much attention to it. There was talk that some doctor's were behind it (rummor & talk that I don't know if it is fact). If you can tell me exactly what you need to know I will be glad to ask around to find out what I can.

Well Teach sounds like you need to go ahead and turn them loose with BB guns they will be just fine!

On the dead cochin I think what is the worse of it all it is the one that she shows, now shes gotta work with one of the other ones! Sad thing is that the others arent as pretty as that one was!

Sooner what is Maddy and her 4-H group doing? Are they doing the stay the night at the zoo thing in March? I think it is in OKC.
