I dont know about the lucky part.... you should see my house. They have destroyed it! And if they are not here then I have no excuse not to clean it.

Well I was going to take J's son to daycare this morning, said so last night because his daycare is open and I am *sure* that his son would love to be around his friends and daycare teachers, but J seems to think that I should go ahead and keep him home. So. Trying to figure out what to do.

Blanchard and Maud have larger livestock as well but primarily chickens. And the chickens start at different times. You arent that far from us. We are off of 149th near Harrah Newalla in Bethel Acres.

Hi Hoo Doo Man,

I am close to you too. I live off Anderson Road on 128th St. Snobby neighbors so my chickens are kept at my work on the I-35 Service Rd. in Moore. I have furry little "house chickens". I keep them indoors, 70 degrees and listening to music all day. They have it rough.

I totalloy agree. Mine are already on their way to school and none of us could be happier. Both of my kids love school and hate being out. I was about to lose my mind with all the constant bickering between them. They don't do well being caged in. Lauren has been sick so I didn't want her outside anymore than necessary. She was diagnosed with bronchitis last week, so the cold air would have tore her chest up.

Mine were driving me nuts.. I didnt make any ice cream with that first snow in december, so this time around they were bored so I thought I would show them something neat and had them go collect the snow. They havent had snow ice cream since they were little. Yesterday they got out of bed and by 9 am were begging for snow ice cream..... No way am I making ice cream that early. Its not good if you have to freeze it.

wow it has to be rough on those poor little chicks, and i know what you mean about snobby neighbors....i was like oh come on this is the country we are all suppose to get along, well come to find out the people before we moved here were real dirtbags.......well its ok i didnt really want them over to eat fresh goat and chickens at my bbq's anyway...... my one and only neighbor out here that did stop pull into my drive and inroduce himself is cool, he is a good ol boy and thats why I didnt mind goind and helping him cut a cord of wood day before the storm as thats his heat source, ypu, cut split and stacked, and hey if anyone ever neeeds wood and you dont want to cut down your trees i have a few that can be cut. or if you know some one who needs it, some of them are one the ground already before the sstorm

My kids are usually begging for ice cream as soon as the first flake hits the ground. We haven't made any lately though. It does tend to become a block of ice if it has to be refrozen.

Oh yeah I forgot to let you guys know something. We found wild turkey tranks in the snow in the backyard. We have never had turkeys on theis side of town before. There are a bunch that travel through my FIL yard on the other side of town every morning. DH took the pup out back and hollared at me to come look at something. I get outside and look at the tracks, all that is going to my mind is that those are some huge tracks and my birds aren't near that size.

The latest from J was him calling me to tell me to go ahead and take his son to daycare so he can socialize with other kids. I wish he'd make up his mind...

Then again, his son is EXACTLY like him... which means that he's a total social butterfly.

Hey Hoo-Doo,

Ft Sill looks like a war zone. There is enough firewood to give every redneck in Oklahoma a good bon fire.
