You could just go South of Shawnee to hiway 39 and then head West.

But if you don't mind the interstate I would go south To I-40 and go West to I-240 still westbound to I-35 and then go South to the Purcell exit.

Or just go South on 177 to hiway 51 there in Stillwater and head west to I-35 then S to the exit

I think there is some kind of rule that you cannot own an empty Sportsman

But, seriously, if you are going to sell it I would be interested too

I-35 is to far back west to go. Take 177 south to thru shawnee to Highway 9 then to 120th take south to hwy 39 then take hwy 39 to 96th i think it is, I will have to check and make sure on that part. But anyway once we know for sure where We WILL have an address that you can google or map quest thing. You can try this one Armadillo Rd Lexington Oklahoma. I think that is the name of that road or one that is out there close by.

Me too, this is my first try and im as nervous as if it was my daughter being born all over again. Constantly checking the temp/humidity and worrying if i skrewed it all up. I need to go take the eggs out of the turner I think. I set them Sunday the first about this time at nite, so thats day 18 i belive? Or should I count tommarow as day 18? I dont want to take them out early and kill them or not take them out soon enough and confuse them or or or a million other things i think could go wrong. *sigh* These mutt eggs got me worrying so much I probly developed and Ulcer. And now I want a cabinet bator

I also like the KOA idea they usally have a playground for the kids, and we can pull our camper down to stay in. But anything is fine.

I want to get in line for the Sportsman too!! Maybe we could just pass it around
gig.gif
But if it was here it would NEVER be empty!! Both of my LG's are FULL and I have more eggs coming from AussieSharon

So I will posssibly have chicks, ducks and geese at the swap.

Carla, I would love to have some blue slate turkeys! Will you be able to bring some eggs or poults to the swap?

I will be willing to bet that I can bring eggs & possibly poults from all 4 breeds we have if the Lord's a willin' and the creek don't rise! Seriously though, we've got at least 5 turkey hens of each variety, with at least 2 toms in each pen. Varieties are: blue slate, bourbon red, narragansett and royal palm.

Boy, I didn't know that old Sportsman would be so popular. I've got to think it over some about possibly selling it. It's actually an oldie that is made out of real wood ... made before they went to particle board. It has auto turner and auto humidity (water bucket with line going into the humidity tray. We may need to use it for all those turkey eggs we'll have eventually, along with all the other eggs & then ... we have at least 30 guinea hens that'll be laying soon too.

Hey Ronnie, I read your post to Bill and he says he'd take
the eggs out of the turner tonight.

We're having temp problems with the GQF he fired up.
So......we cleaned out a corner and have it in the house....
I was sure hoping that once I got it moved outside, three
years ago, I wouldn't have it back in....... Guess we'll know
in a few days if the temp was off too far this round.

Have a good one !

Looks like ya'll had some fun while I was in class

I feel the pain about finals! You would think with close to 250 hrs of course work I would quit going to school or would have learned my lesson...but NO! Go get a masters it will be good for you...all I can say is that I have promised myself a new pistol when I am done!

Ronnie...what type OEGB's you looking for...sghow quality or just birds? I have two rooster too many at the moment...a barred and a millie fluer...not the best for showing but they are birds
roll.png
I am not gonna do them in until the swap and I might have some others depending on what kind of mood I get in! Plus hopefully those fools will start laying...stupid cold nights and wind and

It isn't that far! Think middle of the panhandle...no about 2 hrs past Woodward...
gig.gif
We made a day of driving over there for a show at that college ya'll have back in the fall...Got several good birds...and a couple I am not sure why I have

Silkies...huh? I made a deal with an ol' boy from somewhere...I am gonna send him quail eggs and he is gonna send me bantam silkie eggs
he.gif
There goes my soul!
bow.gif
I have heard evil things about the silkies so what yourself!

What colors of OEGB are you looking for? There is a guy in freedom that raises some great birds...OEGB and Moderns...if you are interested

I probly should change my signature, im ordering about 3 doz bantam orp eggs within the week anyway. But the silkies I do want more of. The lady i got these from is suppose to hatch more in about a month. Colours didnt matter, i just wanted something to free range here. My dogs are already getting ticks on them, can you belive it? I also just got 5 cochin bantams but the birds didnt look much like my cochin, just like birds with featherd feet, oh well 1$ a piece.
