Sulphur is supposed to have a swap called Dog Days or something to that effect. Still haven't been there but heard that you can get a hodge podge there also.

Evenin' all! Sounds like there was another great show this weekend! Caitlin is working hard getting ready for her first show this saturday. She is excited. I just wish she didn't have to show trios, oh well we are still cloverbud for a few more weeks. I think we are well researched for the show, but if anyone has some last minute pearls of wisdom they would be appreciated.

We also processed our first chicken last month. Darn thing attacked caitlin and me and brought blood on both of us! He was good eatin' though! I couldn't believe how lean the meat was. I am currently trying to convince Berry to take down another.

Kendra is very intelligent. In the few times we have talked, she has really impressed me. I have faith that she will make the appropriate decisions when she knows all the details.

Of course, waiting for this to happen can take longer than we would like for it to.​

Yes, I believe the year is taking off very well for the Juniors. I saw TJ's results for his 4-H show and he did an excellent job.

I thought the same thing too when I first read that, but was relieved to know it wasnt my initial thought..

TJ Na Na thoughts are with you and I hope that all the positive you have been for her will give her the path she needs to make good choices for herself and learn from any of the mistakes she may make in the future as we all know we are all not perfect.

Evening folks...had a rough day what with napping and doing nothing worth anything. Every time I got ready to come chat there was someone else using the 'puter.

Wish i could have gone to an auction...and it wasn't cuz of money that I don't go...I am scared of my wife! My bro went to an auction out his way...said it was a blast. Now he is gonna brag about that each month to me...

Well...just a few days I will get my hit of fun! Won't make an auction but I am all about Mary's!!!

Yay! We are having an Easter day hatch! Tragedy strikes, but yet another blessing occurs. It kind of helps to brighten the spirits. I was just walking into the living room and hear chirping coming from the brooder. I run over to it and using my flashlight beam into the bator to see our first one to fully hatch. So the first to hatch on Valentines day is a Porcelain D'Uccle from the auction. I can see several more peeping, but funny enough the one that hatched was not the first one I saw peeping. Perhaps the angle I had through the window was not good for this particular one.
