Just a quick note to let you all know that I am back, [in case anyone missed me]
tongue.png

I changed the name of my Silkie breeding to SonRise Silkies and updated my avatar.
I sure hope no one objects to this name or has all ready used it.
I am NOT new here......formerly I was on here as Silkielovr.
I know this is all too confusing on a rainy day but I hope some of you remember me and will recognize me when you see this new name.
I'll be at POOPS too, so looking forward to seeing everyone.
Thanks,
Cheryl

I'm glad she's happy with them. I don't know if you'll remember but back in early fall I bought a bucket load of bantam eggs from Texas trading company (a hatchery) to test out my new incubator. 28 of them hatched, some didn't make it over the winter. That's where those birds came from. I have an adult trio of blue red OEGB that Madison can have if she wants them, the hens are laying really well so she should be able to raise a bunch of them. I like them but they are not a color I'm going to work with so I don't need them. I'm only keeping my BB Red line, my blacks, & Crele.

Matt

I will have to get with you to see when we can work out a pick up, can you post a pic so I can show her. She doesn't know how to say No to any chicken! LOL. I happen to have a pen almost ready for them.

Hi, I'll get you guys some photos as soon as the rain allows for it. Can't really chance the camera out in the rain, but I'm sure she will like them. The rooster has a rose comb and has great color!

yo...didn't read anything from the weekend...did I miss anything critical?

My little bro's lady friend is wanting japs...and they will be at the big party! ANybody have any peacock requests? I know there wil be some at the auction I go to in April...they are usually fairly pricey...

Happy rainy afternoon, all. I am covered up with work, which is good for the bill-paying efforts but is at cross-purposes with the leisurely lifestyle to which I aspire.

Al - sorry to hear about your friend passing - I know you are a comfort to the family.

Monty - are you coming to Tulsa to cover the Conference Basketball this week? Also, your PM inbox is full...

I am so over these gray dreary winter days. I need some more of that Spring we had this weekend!

SplitSocket Richard - thank you for being so patient with me regarding getting your box back to you! I surely do hope you are at POOPS with some of your awesome birds!

Thanks for the link. Having grown up in the 60s it brought back a lot of memories. Some good, some not so good. One thing I noticed...If he designed that website for us of the 60s he should have make the font larger and speed of change slower!

but when you find that bird you have been looking for and can't find in OK...it is worth it!!! I know folks that ship birds all the time. I have shipping boxes if they want you to send one...they aren't new so if they are all huffy about it...sorry! But I would gladly ship one for you so you could get some birds.

I should have babies waiting on me when I get home...one was out yesterday and others were trying to be second!!! I don't know what all I had hatch...that would require me writing stuff down...
