I went to Blanchard tonight. Not as much stuff as last time but still quite a lot. Not as many of our BYC okies there either.
I did visit with Al, Michael, Buster, Jerman, KC, Doc and Peaches, and saw a few more folks.
I didn't buy anything but had I wanted to stay till later I had noticed some nice NN hens that would have loved moving here.
I brought home about 13 dozen assorted eggs from Al to set for POOPS.

We just back a few minutes ago from Blanchard. Had a great time chatting with Jer-Man, Al, Monty, Buster, Asa and Mike D.

Al bought everything so nobody else took anything home. "Big 'Rich' Bully". Picking on a little boy the way you did over chocolate. And then spilled coffee all over Peaches lap, then proceeded to wipe it off for her. It was Hi-Jacker's coffee and then wouldn't even buy him a replacement cup. Busted!!!

Jer-Man, you've got to be the most honest man I have meet. Thank you for the delivery of the cloth and the return of the over-payment.

Missed P&B, Muesky, Sooner, Carla, Carl and Steph and I knew I would forget to mention somebody. Sorry.

I knew I would forget something.. Thank you Buster. The incubator is fired up and almost settled into temp. We have goose eggs to set.

Blanchard was just Ok tonight plus I wasn't 100% tonight and left early along with Monty and some other Bycers, guest we are all just bushed and tired. I did manage to buy more eggs some of your Frizzle Turken eggs Carla & Gerald ( I remembered Geralds P/O limit so I stayed above that LOL ) So I know they will be great. Also bought a few more egg turners for the AL-A-Bator expansion project. Which will now give me 160 egg capacity, Gave Monty a B-ttload = 13 doz hatching eggs for POOPS and headed to ranch. Hope all is well with everybody tonight.

I prefer the least aggressive cockerel. Send me a PM with your price and we'll arrange things. I can handle cranky boy birds, but I'd rather have one that doesn't black my shins every time I go into the pen to feed and water.

Good evening everyone!

Well I sure missed hanging out at the auction with all of you guys tonight. We went to the Medieval Faire in full garb, like to froze to death, so we did not stay very long. It was kinda hohum this year, I think it was because they had it too early in the year. Most years it is the second Saturday in April but they have been moving it up earlier and earlier the last two years.

Is anyone planning on going to Cement next week? I have not been up there to an auction is quite some time and sure would like to go this month. Al this is down there in your neck of the woods right? I have to admit it is really pretty around the Cement area, of course it is really pretty where I live but I am a bit prejudgist.

So we only have 5 weeks till POOPS

I am trying not to think about it too much because I get excited and have a hard time focusing on other task that are also due around that time.

Sorry about ninja posting but I have late late dinner sitting on the stove and my stomach is knawing on my backbone because of the smell. It is not nachos but it will do..

Our goats got sold and it was bitter sweet.. ok ok so I teared up as they drove away because they were crying momma at me and were kinda freaking out as to why they were going but I was staying...

DS went and gathered eggs tonight and whoopa we are up to 11 laying hens...

!!


Glad all that went to blanchard enjoyed themselves...
