Less than 3 weeks, need to get the food list going



Food listing for POOPS 2010:

Hi everyone as you know P.O.O.P.S will be May 1st . There will be one meal this year. Most of the meat (thanks to our P.O.O.P.S fund from the fall) will be taken care of so we will be looking mainly for side dishes, deserts, casseroles, paper products, cutlery & drinks.

We will have limited outlets for crock pots if that is something you might be interested in, chicken & dumplings were a big hit along with that banana pudding. Keep in mind the number of people (aprox. 100) that will be attending when making your dish or dishes.

If you volunteer to bring drinks, paper products or cutlery please tell me the quantity you will bring, also the drinks will need to be on ice. I will also need 2 of the large drink coolers to make kool -aid & tea.

I will need volunteers to help with setting up the meal & cleaning up after.

Please PM me with Food in the subject line with what you plan to bring.

I will keep a running list to post from time to time.

just stopping in to FUSS...
Working to hard to enjoy my chickens.. Hate the fact that you gotta work to
live. Hate computers.... Want to buy some chicks from Donna
but cant find the time to go. Spring is here and I am on the 9th floor of the
Bank of Oklahoma Building down town and can only see outside threw the thick
glass. Kicking our own butt trying to make this work but nothing seems to be going
right!!

Cuban - I thought it had already been determined you were always welcome in hunting camp! Besides...that song about checking you for ticks is about turkey hunting! At least that is what I took it to mean.

Wayne - heck yeah I am interested in parlor tumblers and rollers! I don't think I am gonna have any birds...I am betting that Micheal will!

Come on down. Hunting is NOT just a GUY-THANG. Peaches is an excellent hunter.

She won't let me clean the game, she has her way of doing it and says, "You don't do it right."

She won't let me clean fish either. Ya think that MAYBE that is intentional?

Hi all, hope everyone has had a great day. It has been so pretty ...hated to have to stay inside and work...so took our kids out this morning and allowed them to have some extra free play. They LOVED it. So did we.

Anyway...I've got something to say. PLEASE, PLEASE help out Carah and post to her what you will be bringing to POOPS. She hasn't said anything to me but I have been in her shoes before and it is very frustrating to try to put your meal you're in charge of together and not know what you have to work with.

I would love to see what the menu will be and I can assure you that Monty, Teach and Al want to know....I sat next to them last fall at the resturant....LOL

Let's help Carah and post by Saturday what you'll be bringing to POOPS and let her rest knowing the meal is taken care of.

I'm still deciding what all I will be bringing to POOPS.... Here's what I know of so far:

Polish X Silkie Chicks, from a White Crested Chocolate Polish daddy and various shades of Blue Silkies mommas.
White Pekin Ducklings of different ages.
Black Tailed White Japanese, two boys and one girl, they are about a year old.
Silver Duckwing OEGB pair.
