OK....I give up..... You gals will understand this.

Years ago, I even saw them....and Pa-Pa put them
up in a "safe" place. Yup, it's "sooo safe" we don't
have to worry about them being used.........

I have been online this morning trying to find
some "butcher shop quality" de-boning shears.
I have searched every thing I can think of that
might help me find them. All I have come up
with are some light weight scissors and that's
not what I want.

Anybody have a clue where I should look next?

Sounds like we're gonna get some rain....But,
we can't really fuss after this beautiful weather
we've been having. And, those of us that aren't
totally behind.....like us.... need the rain for their
gardens.

I searched a couple of places where we get knives, without any luck, but a Google of "chicken shears" turned these up - I have not tried them but really like the other Oxo products I have - mainly garden tools

Good Morning All....anyone getting rain yet? We're not and it wouldn't hurt my feelings if it holds off until next week. I have so much to get done outside.

Is anyone bringing and geese to POOPS. I want some so bad. I really want to get them small so they grow up knowing me. Please PM me if you are. I would love the kind that looks like what was on Charlotte's Web..however I'm not picky.

Food listing for POOPS 2010:

Hi everyone as you know P.O.O.P.S will be May 1st . There will be one meal this year. Most of the meat (thanks to our P.O.O.P.S fund from the fall) will be taken care of so we will be looking mainly for side dishes, deserts, casseroles, paper products, cutlery & drinks.

We will have limited outlets for crock pots if that is something you might be interested in, chicken & dumplings were a big hit along with that banana pudding. Keep in mind the number of people (aprox. 100) that will be attending when making your dish or dishes.

If you volunteer to bring drinks, paper products or cutlery please tell me the quantity you will bring, also the drinks will need to be on ice. I will also need 2 of the large drink coolers to make kool -aid & tea.

I will need volunteers to help with setting up the meal & cleaning up after.

Please PM me with Food in the subject line with what you plan to bring.

I will keep a running list to post from time to time.

Heading from Foss, all the way to Weatherford, it is raining. I'll let you know if we ever outrun it. It is just a light drizzle rain.

We are running late this morning. We got in the car to head out and the darn thing refused to start. I think it is the fuel pump. We just changed it less than a year ago and it is acting the same way. So we ended up having to clean the farm truck out and transfer everything from the car to the pickup. We also had to get gas, then go back to the house because we forgot the camera. Normally I would have just used the camera on my phone, but the memory card was still in the laptop from posting those pics last night.

raining here real constant since yesterday afternoon. it is a great steady drizzle. farmers are happy..great for the wheat.

We are testing so I have half my class this morning and well...we are playing games!

Na-na - I know this will sound silly cuz I didn't believe it when I got them but I found a pair of plastic scissors that I love for cutting up birds...they won't do the legs but they rip through everything else! I am fairly sure I got them at Wal-mart...and they weren't much. I actually like them better than my grandma's old heavy pair! no you can't have them...that was my Na-na. TJ can explain it to you. I also have my grandpa's .22...broken...wouldn't put a bullet in it for anything...it is the second gun to be removed from the house incase of fire or other emergency. Tj will know what I mean about that as well.

Good Morning all, it is sprinkling steady her in north central OK, how is everyone today? Teach ol buddy, I am going to get the stuff to make a batch of "Morning Dew" Jelly today along with some others for the Poops auction and a relish tray, if there are any special request to put on the relish tray, you all better PM me so I can get it made if I am out of it!!!! The rain quit somewhere around the 108 mile marker, west of El Reno.

Edited to add that the rain started back up right after El Reno.

We are no longer running late. We caught up to the bus.
