My living room is a complete disaster. I had to dig my laptop out from under a mess. I am in the process of moving everything and vacuuming. But I had to tell you guys something.

MY SERAMA LAID AN EGG . . . . . . AND IT WAS FERTILE.


The kids are cleaning the coop and Lauren cracked it. She laid the egg on the ledge behind the roosting pole. Lauren moved the roost and it fell. That's okay, at least I know she is laying and he is doing his job. I'm so happy. They are 8 months old, so its about dang time!

Good Early Evening Everyone!

First and fore most Thank the Powers that be that tomorrow is Friday. I was not sure all my students were going to make it home alive today.

Sooner I am going to be bringing a meatless meatloaf..... and no I am not just making a loaf.

It is not vegan cause I use eggs but tasty none-the-less.

Monty I am planning on coming by Friday evening to hang out. I will bring veggie burgers and hot dogs. Whatever is left over can be used Saturday. K?

Well I got my first order from Purely Poultry. 6 bourbon red poults (2 died though

), 4 favorelle pullets and 1 favorelle cockerel (Oh my gosh are they so dang adorable), 5 millie fleur d'uccle and 5 birchin cochin. They are all so flippin cute. Oh and the Purely Poultry people were really nice when I called them today about the two poults dying, they refunded my money to my account within 10 minutes and were really friendly when ever I have called. Would recommend ordering from them to everyone.

I have an order coming from Nature's Hatchery coming on May 12th. More bourbon red baby turkeys, dark brahmas, mottled cochin.

Next month I am considering ordering more turkeys from Ideal and wanted to know if anyone wants to go in on an order with me. We only have to buy 10 and I do not need that many. I need something closer to 5. Ideal also lets you add standard chicks into the order of turkeys as well. I have gotten three orders from Ideal and I really like them alot. Their silkies are not the best quality but their cochins are awesome. I have two pair of whites that are really pretty. One pair will be coming to POOPS with me for sale, cause I already have a trio and the other pair.

It looks and feels like it is getting ready to rain. I hope it gets it done before Saturday, the coop needs to be cleaned something fierce
