Are you looking for just hens and pullets? I have some eggs set but they are due the 30th so they may not be at POOPS though but I believe we put some of our bantam cochin eggs in there.

It's exciting to hear people talking about getting birds ready for POOPS. As part of my sorting for POOPS I moved a dozen little ones from the barn to an outside pen yesterday, just in time for the rain.

I'm going to have to work on travel cages this weekend. I have a lot of birds I can't identify the breeds for. I bought a lot of eggs to hatch that were marked Pure Breeds, but the seller hadn't marked the eggs when they were collected, so I was buying mystery eggs. Some turned out to be white leghorns, and there are some that may be Cinnamon Queens. The Ameraucanas are easy to spot, but there are some I just can't figure out. I hope folks at POOPS will recognize and help identify the mystery chicks.

What's the earliest we can get to the KOA on Saturday morning if we aren't campers? I don't know when the office opens. We have to check in at the office, right, before we park?

You can get there at anytime! when you turn off of Choctaw road into the park, you will see the office on the right, turn on the first right and continue to turn right untill you find the club house. Trust me you will be able to tell. You can then unload anything that you need to & then move your car to the parking area.

Last year we were up before daylight drinking coffee.

Poco There is a sign at the office that says check in but they are referring to campers. If you just circle around like Sooner said then you can unload and go park. You don't have to check in.
I have been working in the garage. I had a cave in on tunnel #3 but it was mostly empty boxes.
Found some stuff to bring to our happening.

Sooner what do you need for folks to bring? Anything SPECIAL?
I mean besides me. They can't bring me because I will already be there.
So the special they bring will have to be something else.

An American prisoner was captured by the German army during WWII and was being interrogated.

What is your name? He was asked.
He replied Tick, Tick, Tick, Tick,Tick.

What is your rank?
Again he just said "Tick Tick Tick Tick Tick.

What is your serial number?

Again just a steady Tick Tick Tick Tick Tick.

The Officer leaned over and whispered in the prisoner's ear.

You know, we do have ways of making you TOCK!

Oh Monty...aren't you too cute today. Did you call me yesterday? My phone had a message....in fact a very funny message...but I didn't know if it was from yesterday or another day. Tried to call you 2 times...but I guess you were off taking a snoooze. LOL

I need so info.... Tyson gave us at school some eggs to hatch. They are the meat birds and I thought I would try some feeding them out and butchering them. Do I just feed them chick starter just like a normal chick? If so,for how long and then what do I feed them? Does anyone know how to reach the guy in Tahlequah that butchers them?

Please let me know as I am taking all of them that hatched at school.

Donna

I don't think I called. I was at a very wealthy man's establishment having him work on my truck.
I really don't think he was all that wealthy when I got there but he sure is now.
On the bright side the new parts he put on my truck are worth more than the truck. So I got that going for me.
I wanted to snooze in this morning but THEY never let me.

They need a much higher protein I think. They make a special broiler feed but not everyplace will carry it.
They should be big enough to eat in about six weeks .

Was that Mike Tyson?
PM me if you want his number.
