Hey, Langshanman, hope you're still on here.....I told Bill,
when you were getting down the the end of it, he needed to
come up and ask for the microphone, and say a major
"Thank You" to "you" for putting this show together and,
somehow, making it look so fluid and easy....Am sure it
wasn't. You're appreciated !!!!!!!

Have a good one !!!!!!!!

Langshan Man,
THANK YOU! for such a great show! you made it look easy, and I know it is not! I had a very nice time and really enjoyed the whole thing.

TJ's Na-Na.
Shaun was thrilled that you mentioned TJ and him on the BYC. He was almost as happy a placing in the Top 5 Juniors.

I am so proud of our Okie kids!! Shaun was really excited about his win.
I am now on a misson to look for birds for my other kiddo(Shaun's BF) I have birchen modern eggs in the incubator, I will also have bantam brown leghorns and maybe I can get some eggs out of our "champion" bantam black wyandottes.
We came home with more birds from the show!! A pair of bantam white cochins (lots and lots of maintenence!!) A pair of bantam RIR. And another pair of moderns!!

I am glad I got to meet TJ's Na-Na and Cuban Longtails. I am looking forwaard to POOPS to get to meet some more of our okies.

Good evening all, I want to thank Hangumhorns for the loan of his Cochin Rooster, so maybe we can get some Cochins hatched out this year. Congrats to all that showed and a special Congrats to the Juniors that showed, they are the future of our Hobby, WAY TO GO GUYS AND GALS !!!!!

Now to get the garage wired! Shouldn't take but a trip to town!

Dang...whoever bought the RIR bantams wish I had saved my roosters...I had some good ones but lost all the hens...

Quit whining about finals! It will do you good to get out and play with some birds eat good food and hang with fun folks! My wife used to freak during finals and be sick for two weeks afterwards...I would do my normal thing study for a bit...play for a bit...study then play! What kind of finals will you have? You never know might have some folks around that could help out!

Teach was right you can get help right here.. I will start with (Western Civilizations 1)
what you need to know is that people from Europe Moved west to America (Western Civilizations 2) They had a land run in Oklahoma so they moved here,, That should cover those 2
Now for (Personal Financial Management) when your wallet is empty, and your checkbook says
Zero, and you don't have a bill collector knocking on your door then you have managed your money right..

See that was not so hard.. Now you can come to the POOPS meet up and have fun..

anyone else want to help just jump right in

Oh I see how yall Durant peeps roll.

You went and bought up all the good chickies and just left all the Cornish crosses as left overs. I see how yall are. LOL

We went to Orschelins (or how ever you spell it) and all they had was Cornish crosses. My lil one was so disappointed not to be bringing chickies home.

Well we just went ahead and picked up a still air incubator to hatch some of our EEs and Wellies out.

This morning I went to the Atoka swap and a guy had some excellent birds, too bad he sold out all the hens and just had roos left and one awesome looking pair of Polish. He also had some rarer chickies such as silver speckled hamburgs, something pheonix, silver laced something or others (sorry he was spouting them off so fast I couldn't keep up. He was more interested in talking to an old buddy to answer my questions so me and my lil one just moved on. No chickies from there either.

Oh well I will fire up the bator and get some of my eggs in and see how good I can do. Hopefully my broody thumb is better than my green thumb, cause I can even kill plastic plants.

Oh we also went to Tractor supply and the guy said their chicks should be in at any time. He said the paper said March 15th, but he said he expects them anytime cause they have all the brooders set up in back just waiting for the chicks. OOps shouldn't have said that, now all the Durant chicken snatchers, Grace

, are going to get em all. LOL

Dizzy - sounds like you have the baby chicken "bug" in a serious way. Of course, an incubator is one of the best ways to cure that particular "bug."

Did we mention that hatching baby chicks is addictive? Once the incubator is going and you have your first successful hatch, you will want another incubator to use as a "hatcher" so that you can have one incubator with a turner and one to move the eggs to for the final three days so that only one bator gets all that fluff and egg shell in it and the other one with the turner stays cleaner.

Just remember to pencil a date on the eggs you put into the incubator so you know when to expect them to hatch - Teach can probably give you more instructions on that aspect.

As for plastic plants and green thumbs, I highly recommend a good quality silk flowering plant. They seem to hold up better than plastic inside - I have had a "flowering azalae" in my office for 23 years and every now and again someone tries to "smell it" because the flowers are so pretty.
