That or you really should have put it on the other section road! Actually it is probably cuz the box is in town and you live way to far out even for the post office!

we really kind of have 4 seasons. the biggest city around is Ft Smith. with about 80,000 people
It depends on what type of work that you will be looking for. of course we are not OKC, Tulsa Or Lawton so you do have to give something up..
Hope this helps some.. any other questions I might me able to help with just let me know

NE OK is really nice, but you'd have to look quite a ways
away from the lakes. Are you talking about farm land, or
pasture type land? How big a place are you thinking about?
And, the "working real jobs" - would you need to be near
a big place like Tulsa? #412 runs E/W just north of this
area between Tulsa (west) and clear over to Springdale, AR,
(east). Oh, land is high everywhere, but I would think
out around Rose, Leach, etc., it might be more reasonable
than near the city or one of the lakes. Or, you might check
ads from just S of here, below Muskogee, to north
of McAlester. Might be fairly reasonable through there.
There are a lot of large farms down that way.

Have a good one !

I ordered some stuff from Fleming Outdoors. They put a copy of the Gospel of John in it...I thought that was cool. Anyone else traded with them? Good prices and service plus I like the ideals. Just thought I would throw that out there. My return address labels have masonic symbols on them, but I thought that was a neat way to spread the word.

Back to the where to move thing...if you hate trees, rain, and population...the panhandle is hard to beat! Plus we have some fairly unique mixture of smells...cattle feedlots plus swine barns...North winds bring the occasional polar bear toot!

Yeah, we passed up the chance for some land five years ago when we got married cause hubby had an objection to living in a mobile (I grew up in a mobile, shouldn't everyone for at least a few years?) It would have been perfect out east of guthrie....

Prices have sky rocketed the last five years! I'm hoping it will go back down soon since I've seen the same land (different listings) south west of the city for sale for nearly a year now with no bites, but they are still sitting there at 10,000 an acre.....

then when the auctions come up people pay list price

I don't understand it......

When is the big snake round up! I have always wanted to go to one but never have made it.

There is an annual rattlesnake festival in Apache and one in Waurika both in the end of April I believe. Apache is better and closer to you, it also goes on all weekend and has a carnival for the kiddo's.

I think that is where the long distance underwater swimmers go to learn to hold their breath.
